RSL is the world’s largest and leading manufacturer of shuttlecocks, and we strive every day to deliver the highest quality to badminton players worldwide.
In the city of Quizhou, China, RSL has established the world’s largest and most advanced shuttlecock factory, where production adheres to the highest standards. The factory employs approximately 700 workers, making it a significant employer in the local area and ensuring proper working conditions for its employees.
Traditionally, shuttlecock production has been heavily reliant on manual labor. However, at RSL, we aim to integrate technology to automate processes, increasing production capacity, stability, and uniformity across all stages. By adhering to strict standards of quality and sustainability, we maximize the use of natural resources (feathers and cork), ensuring that our production is as environmentally friendly as possible.
RSL’s shuttlecock factory in Quizhou, China, is a pioneer in product development - a cornerstone of our manufacturing process - and sets new benchmarks for the entire production system. At RSL, we maintain control over the entire supply chain, overseeing all processes from raw feathers to the finished shuttlecock. This is achieved through a high level of innovation and automation in multiple production stages.
At RSL, a shuttlecock is never “just” a shuttlecock. We aim to produce to the highest standards, doing so in a way that considers both product excellence and the welfare of employees and the environment. For example, RSL does not bleach feathers to achieve a white color but relies solely on the natural shade of the feathers. When selecting the perfect feathers, they are sorted into approximately 50,000 variations to find the ones that match best for creating the ideal shuttlecock.
Today, RSL operates 22 factories in China, producing all types of shuttlecocks, from low-end to high-end, catering to every level of badminton play.

CLASSIC
RSL is known as one of the world’s leading manufactures of shuttlecocks, and RSL Classic is a shuttlecock in the absolute world class. RSL Classic is particularly known for it’s high recycling value, which means that many badminton clubs experience a greater saving in shuttlecock consumption.
The feathers for an RSL Classic go through a total of 19 steps in the selection process, before being approved to become part of one of the world’s best shuttlecocks.
RSL Classic is made of a full goose feather construction, with a three piece cork base with a blend of natural cork and synthetic cork. This ensures a fantastic feeling with the shuttle, and the well-known durability.
RSL Classic is an approved tournament shuttlecock by the BWF (Badminton World Federation).

ACADEMY CLASSIC
The RSL Classic Academy is the newest shuttlecock from RSL. It is designed for players, who are looking for perfect durability and playability. This version of shuttlecocks contributes to reduced shuttlecock consumption.

With the durability of RSL Tourney No. 1, the players achieves high performance on the court. This shuttlecock is produced with special selected 1st grade duck feathers to optimize the playability and performance during the game.
RSL Tourney No. 1 is an approved tournament shuttlecock by the BWF (Badminton World Federation).
Tourney No. 2 is a quality shuttlecock, which is often used at national tournaments. Uniformity is achieved by using this version and a quality which can’t be questioned. RSL Tourney No. 4 it is the cheapest shuttlecock in the Tourney series. With its good durability, the player achieves a perfect shuttlecock for training sessions and local tournaments. The shuttlecock has a consistent flight and good playability.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR RACKET
It can be difficult to choose a new racket, so we have tried to make it easy for you!
The most important factors when to choose a new racket are, the balance point and the stiffness in the shaft.
If you play a head heavy racket (a balance point on 300 mm and above) you will get more power in your strokes, and with a head light racket (a balance point below 300 mm), you will get faster movements with your racket.
If you are looking for a racket with more control, it could be useful with a stiff shaft in your racket. But if you are beginner or a player that needs a bit more power, then a softer shaft could be a way to improve your game.
For each racket we have created a diagram that describes the characteristics of the individual RSL models.

WHAT DOES FLEXIBILITY MEAN FOR YOUR GAME
STIFF FLEXIBLE
When you use a flexible shaft in the racket, it means you get more power. If you are looking for massive control, you must choose a racket with a stiff shaft.
You have to decide for yourself what you need from you racket.
The decision about the flexibility of the shaft, is a way to give more power or control in your strokes, but this is often in combination with other characteristics in the racket such as weight and balance.
Typically, a flexible shaft is most often combined with a lighter or more head-light racket, and a stiffer shaft is most often combined with slightly heavier and/or more head-heavy or even balanced racket.
RACKET WITH STRINGS
MS10000V2
This racket is for the ambitious tournament player, who wants to control the game in all aspects. The racket has a frame widening from 2 o’clock to 10 o’clock, and again in the bottom of the head around the T-joint to stabilize the head, and make the frame stronger.
RSL Master Speed 10000 is a bit head heavy, and has an extra stiff shaft to maximize control and feeling with the shuttle. If you have the right feeling and touch, this racket will help you to improve both control and power in your game.
The racket is made of the best material, with a 30 tons graphite in the head, and a 40 tons graphite in the shaft.
