COLLECTION SPOTLIGHT

Vase 1976.1.410 Circa 1925-1926 This piece has been part of the museum’s collecti on since it was founded in 1978. This line of vases was produced by the Cowan Pott ery Studio during the mid-1920s. This design (652-A) is a wonderful example of the studio’s ability to take classic design and modernize it. In a 1926 adverti sement it was listed for $2, equivalent to just under $30 today.
