LIVE AUCTION The bidder number that appears on the back of your program must be held aloft in order to announce your bid. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. All sales are final upon pronouncement by the auctioneer of the number of the bidder and word “sold.” Your bid is a contract to purchase a particular item or service. All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds will be made. SILENT AUCTION, TEACHER TREATS, & ST. PETER’S TREATS These events will begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Bid sheets are adjacent to the item on display. Please note that there is a specific opening bid amount. Bid raises must be made in increments listed on the bid sheets. Erasing, crossing off, or withdrawing bids is not permitted. The highest bid at the close of the table wins. You may bid as many times as you wish. The Silent Auction will be the first event to close and will be followed by the Teacher Treats and St. Peter’s School Treats. GIFT WALL This new auction event allows you to take a chance and win one of our exciting surprise items. You pay one price and can choose any gift from the wall. The available gifts are featured in our program and no matter what item you get, it is sure to be a great treat for the value. PARTY BOARDS These boards are featured on our Silent Auction tables and are events planned by St. Peter’s families for St. Peter’s families. It is $100 to attend these parties unless stated otherwise. By signing up on the sheet you reserve your place at the party. Once all of the slots the filled, the party is full. DENISE FIKE LIVE ILLUSTRATIONS Former St. Peter’s School parent, Denise Fike, is a renowned artist who will be on hand to create one-of-a-kind live illustrations of the guests at our event. Buy your $30 ticket at the registration table and bring the ticket to Denise to get a unique keepsake from the evening. CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES Full payment is required at the close of the auction for all winning bids. Please make your payment at the check-out tables. If you choose to pre-swipe your credit cards this evening, you can simply pick up your items and leave without waiting in lines at the end of the auction! Welcome to the 2016 Annual Auction! I have found that year after year, this auction serves as a strong reminder of the power and passion of our St. Peter’s School community. We gather together with family, friends, and the larger Philadelphia community in order to raise funds that are essential to continuing the tradition of excellence at this institution. Additionally, our Paddle Raise event tonight will be specifically targeted for a special renovation project that will connect and enhance our Innovation Lab and Lower School Art spaces. This year we are at a new venue, with some new events throughout the evening that are sure to make the night a wonderful party as well as a successful fundraiser. This year’s auction offers a wonderful variety of items and experiences thanks to the incredible generosity of local businesses, our families, and our faculty and staff. A special thank you to Ann Louise Markham and Rachel Iannotti, our 2016 Auction Co-Chairs, as well as all of our volunteers who worked tirelessly to execute this magnificent event. PRESCHOOL PROJECT The Preschool created a painting inspired by Wassily Kandinsky. Each child and their teachers made a heart painting on watercolor paper using watercolors and beeswax crayons. Then we put them together to form one large canvas masterpiece capturing the innocence and love of your little ones. Thank you to: The Students, Teachers, and Class Parents

PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASS PROJECT The Pre-Kindergarten created a unique set of eight “St. Peter’s School” themed placemats and a colorful, abstract framed painting. They used their bodies (literally) and minds to spell out a personal message on the placemats and squirt colorful ink on crumpled paper to create an intricate and collaborative design. MORNING WIH CRAIG & BOOMER AT WFAN The winner will have the chance to attend “Morning with Craig and Boomer” at WFAN for a live taping of the #1 sports show in the country. 1ST GRADE CLASS PROJECT The 1st Grade class has created an original sculpture and art book entitled “St. Peter’s Schoolhouse Book Bag and Art Book.” An ode to St. Peter’s School’s beloved building and iconic red bag, the sculpture was created with paper clay, recycled cardboard, and acrylic paint and houses a scrapbook of original artwork by the class of 2023. PADDLE RAISE SPECIAL APPEAL Tonight we are excited to offer you the opportunity to make a tax deductible donation to St. Peter’s School and the children we teach through our paddle raise. We will start with our highest level of donation and work our way backwards; simply raise your bidder number at the level that you desire to participate and we will record your donation to be included on your receipt at check-out. Through this paddle raise we will be raising funds to remodel our Lower School Art Room. Increased safety and functionality are our main goals in this endeavor. SOCCER WITH ROBOTS AT UNIV. OF PENNSYLVANIA A group of 6 children (Grades 3 - 8) will spend an hour in the PENN robotics GRASP lab playing soccer with a robot and much more. The experience will be led by one of our St. Peter’s parents - George J. Pappas, the Joseph Moore Professor and Chair of the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania - and the PENN robotics team. 7TH GRADE CLASS PROJECT These Islamic Tiles were handcrafted and carved with love by our talented 7th graders. SPS RECORDING SESSION WITH MR. SILVER Did you know that St. Peter’s School has a new recording studio? Does your child have an interest in writing, recording, and performing music? Do they sit around with friends and create songs on piano or guitar? Spend an hour with Mr. Silver working on some original song ideas, and a second hour learning how to create and record an instrumental and a vocal track in ProTools.

TRIP TO FRANKLIN SQUARE WITH MR. RAUSCH Walking trip from St. Peter’s School to Franklin Square for putt-putt and lunch. We will walk back to St. Peter’s School where the students will be picked up by parents in the lot.

TRIP TO THE ART MUSEUM WITH MRS. DARLING The winner, plus a friend will take a morning tour of the Philly Museum of Art with Mrs. Darling, then head off to lunch to discuss the trip, be prepared to receive a professional level tour from one of our resident art experts!

MAX BRENNER TRIP WITH MS. ORLEANS You and a lucky friend can spoil your dinner at Max Brenner Chocolate Bar & Restaurant with Ms. Orleans. You will take a cab to Max Brenner (15th & Locust) after school at 3:30pm then indulge on chocolate cravings. Students must be picked up from Max Brenner.

CREATIVE DRAMA WITH MR. KERR Mr. Kerr will lead the winning child and 7 of their friends on adventure that will test the limits of the imagination. We’ll meet crazy characters, become crazier characters, and solve a HUGE problem together. Joined by a few special guests students will know and love, it promises to be quite the morning!

SHOPPING SPREE WITH MS. MASTROCOLA Your student and up to four friends will have a chance to hit the town with resident St. Peter’s fashion guru Ms. Mastrocola. The group will go shopping at their favorite stores, with Ms. Mastrocola acting as personal stylist helping the students find their perfect summer looks!

SWEET TREAT WITH MS. MASTROCOLA Ms. Mastrocola will take your student and two friends on a fun trip to either Max Brenners or the Ice Cream Parlour of their choice for a fun afternoon with a cool treat!

ACADEMY OF NATURAL SCIENCES WITH MR. PARKER Mr. Parker will take four lucky students on an adventure through the Academy of Natural Sciences at the Franklin Institute.

ST. PETER’S SLEEPOVER The St. Peter’s Sleepover- the only time falling asleep in school is ok! One lucky winner will win a bbq with their friends on the West Lawn, followed by homemade Cowboy Cookies delivered by Mr. Kelly- the perfect snack for viewing the movie of your choice (after being deemed appropriate by staff) in our gorgeous theater. Bring your own sleeping bags and wake up ready for breakfast delivered right to the big red doors of St. Peter’s School.
