HOLST’S THE PLANETS Vasily Petrenko conducts Mao Fujita for Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini – a nimble ode to one of the most recognisable classical themes. Much-loved melodies also await us in Holst’s The Planets – from jolly ‘Jupiter’ to war-like ‘Mars’.
