Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new and exciting school year at RPDS! We are pleased to share with you the 2022-2023 school calendar, which provides an overview of the school year and includes details related to repeated occurrences, such as days for Afternoon Academies and school lunches.
The RPDS community follows a 6-Day rotating schedule. This means that academic and resource classes correspond with specific rotation days rather than traditional days of the week. As you view the school calendar you will notice small circles with numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 embedded in the bottom right corner of each calendar day. These embedded numbers represent the rotation day which aligns with the teachers’ and students’ daily schedules.
Each month’s artwork featured in this calendar was created by our very own RPDS students during the previous school year. We appreciate the expression of creativity of all RPDS students and hope you enjoy these bright and colorful pieces throughout the year.
We are looking forward to many wonderful RPDS activities and experiences that enhance and enrich the lives of our students, families, faculty, and staff.
