Kemmerling Pool Roselle Resident Card (GV) To get Roselle Park District resident daily admission, all residents must present their 2026 Kemmerling Resident Card. This is required by all adults and children who would like to receive resident rates on daily admission to Kemmerling Pool.

To verify residency, adults must bring proof of residency such as a driver’s license, a copy of a current utility bill, tax bill, or lease that lists your current address. Birth certificates are needed for children within the household that do not have an ID. Resident cards are available at the Clauss Recreation Center Front Desk, Fitness Desk, and Kemmerling Pool Front Desk during business hours.

Non-Resident rates will be charged to anyone without the Kemmerling Pool Roselle Resident.

Build friendships, confidence, and strong swimming skills this summer with the Roselle Racers Swim Team. Head coach Tim Layer is one of Lake Park High School’s swim coaches and creates an environment built on positivity, team spirit, and personal improvement. All swim levels and abilities are welcome.

Swimmers should generally be able to swim one full length (50 yards) of the pool, and coaches will observe new swimmers to recommend Racers Swim Team or Junior Racers. Register on or before April 20 and receive $10 off your registration.

JUNIOR RACERS (GV) Ages 6-10

Unsure whether your swimmer is ready for the full swim team?

Junior Racers work with a coach to practice and learn different strokes and breathing techniques necessary to take them to the next level, in a gentle, pressure-free environment. Junior Racers should feel comfortable swimming at least one length (25 yards) of the pool. Register on or before April 20 and receive $10 off your registration.

While attending practices and meets are encouraged, they are not mandatory. The season will run from May 28 until mid/late July.

Meets are held on most Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

SWIM LESSONS Swim Lessons with Chicagoland Pool Management (GV) Through our partnership with Chicagoland Pool Management, swim lessons are designed for children as young as six month of age up through adults to ensure that participants to be safe when they are in, on and around the water. Chicagoland Pool Management Swim Lessons includes a variety of different lesson formats from parent participation, private and level based group lessons.

Receive one-on-one or private swim instruction! Students develop and enhance basic swimming skills with a specific focus on technique and endurance. Lessons will be personalized each session based on skills you want to learn. Each session includes six 30-minute classes. Upon registration participants will be asked to complete a short form and then will be contacted by a swim lesson coordinator to set up days and times for lessons no later than one week before the session begins.

It’s never too late to learn this important life skill! Whether you’re a new swimmer with a fear of water, or a more advanced swimmer who would like to develop your stroke, our caring and experienced instructors will work with you to meet your goals. WALK TO RUN (MD) NEW Ages 16+

Looking for a way to get some exercise, have fun and fulfill your goal of participating in a 5k? Condition yourself to race three miles safely and effectively in this 10-week, walk-to-run program. Dr. Krystian Garbicz and Dr. Erin Strauch-Ducat, chiropractors and strength coaches from Reset Chiropractic & Wellness Center lead each session that includes educational workshops on proper stretching, shoes, equipment, heart rate monitoring and strengthening. Please wear comfortable clothing with athletic socks/ shoes and bring water. Participants should be able to comfortably walk for 30 minutes before starting the program and upon completion will be able to run 3.1 miles.

Over the years Tiffany has been a performer, arts administrator, stage manager, set designer, costume designer, and makeup designer and artist. This summer our Young Rembrandts’ students will find themselves captivated by exotic African beasts. Our “Animals of Africa” Pastel Drawing Workshop offers a challenging 3-day course. In this Co-ed league, emphasis is placed on individual instruction, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Games are played on Saturdays in Roselle and other neighboring park districts as part of the Mid-Suburban Soccer League (MSSL).

Practices will be held during the week based on coach’s availability and will begin at least two weeks prior to game play if there are enough volunteer coaches at the time. Once the team selection process is completed, parents will be contacted by their coach to inform them of first practice location, date, and time.

Wait lists will be used until there are enough players and a volunteer head coach to form another team.

This introductory T-ball program is perfect for a child who wants to have fun, make new friends and be introduced to baseball.

Players work on technique and enhancing form in this comprehensive skills clinic. Illinois Shotokan Karate Club is Chicagoland’s premier karate school taught under the instruction of John DiPasquale, a four-time National Champion and President of the American Shotokan Karate Association.

ISKC’s karate classes offer a good mix of strength training, with cardiovascular and flexibility exercises. Students increase their coordination, agility, and poise, as well as learn lasting personal safety skills. They also benefit from the mental stimulation of learning the choreographed moves of the kata and the discipline of conforming to the class rules.

Tiny Tumblers II (MD)

This program gives kids an opportunity to develop gross motor skills, a better sense of balance, and spatial awareness while interacting with their peers and instructor. Using mats and basic gymnastics equipment, children will have fun jumping, climbing, and crawling in a free flowing and safe environment, including various tumbling obstacle courses. The program will be a mix of instruction and “free play with parents.”

This class will feature a bit more structure and coaching than Tiny Tumblers I, incorporating swinging and rolling with an emphasis on instilling more confidence and independence while exploring basic tumbling skills and techniques. RENTAL FEES

Each facility has hourly rental fees depending on residency status and days of the week.

Staffing fees will be added to all weekend (Fri-Sun) rentals at Clauss and 10 North, and for any rental that has alcohol or exceeds 100 guests.

Additional fees include security deposits, alcohol fees, set up fees, and fees for additional services. A complete listing of fees can be found on our Facility Rental Application at rparks.org/rentals.

All rentals require a minimum of two weeks notice to reserve.

Total rental balance must be paid 48 hours after reservation is booked in our system. Failure to pay rental balance will result in loss of reservation.

Reservations are completed and processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. It is best to plan and reserve facilities as early as possible for increased availability options.

The Scout Lodge is a stand-alone facility with automated entry. Behind the facility there is a small patio with access to a playground. This facility also has a kitchenette which includes a refrigerator, sink, and microwave.

4 Paws Dog Park (MW)

The Skate Park is unsupervised. Skate and bike at your own risk.

Bring your dogs to get off leash, play, and socialize with other dogs. 4 Paws Dog Park is a roughly 30,000 sq ft fenced in by a 4 ft fence that features separate small and large dog sections, play equipment, benches, and a shade structure. An annual Pooch Pass allows you and your canine companion to enjoy Roselle’s very own dog park! At the time of registration, participants will receive a copy of the rules, membership tag, lanyard and security key to access the park. The membership tag, key and lanyard must be with owner at all times. In order to register, individuals must bring a copy of each dog’s immunization records to the Park District. We want to provide those who have purchased the pass a fun and safe environment! Dog owners not complying will be subject to fines of up to $1,000. PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR SECURITY KEY WHEN USING THE DOG PARK! A new locking system has been installed at the park to ensure the safety and security of Pooch Pass holders and their canine companions.

• Skateboarding, In-Line Skating and BMX Bike-riding are high risk activities. Please use caution.

• The Park District is NOT responsible for injuries.

• Proper protective equipment is required which includes helmets, elbow pads, knee pads, etc.

• Skaters are responsible for inspecting and reporting any damage and vandalism to the police at 9-1-1.

• It is required that younger skaters be accompanied by an adult.

Prohibited Acts include but are not limited to: • Only bicycles, skateboards/scooters, or rollerblades are allowed in designated areas.

• No Bikes Are Allowed on The Skate Area.

• No Skates Are Allowed on The Bike Area.

• No Motorized Bikes Are Allowed.

• Users should use pathways to enter/exit designated areas.

• NO food, drinks, or glass on skate/bike operating surfaces.

• NO Littering, breaking glass, and distributing/affixing fliers, stickers, etc. on park property.

• Destruction and misuse of property or structures, including graffiti marking, damaging equipment, defacing signage, and using equipment contrary to designed/intended use.

• NO trespassing after sunset.

• Smoking or any use of a tobacco product is prohibited in all Park District buildings, facilities, and vehicles.

No ATVs. dirt bikes, snow mobiles, or any other motorized vehicles are allowed in our parks.

Lake Park Student Parking Permits (GV) Lake Park student parking permits for the 2026-27 school year for the Clauss Recreation Center parking lot are available for purchase on July 1. Permit applications require a parent/guardian signature and driver’s initials on each listed rule and regulation.

Spaces are limited to 66 spaces in the back two rows of the parking lot. A single parking permit is valid for use in 2 different cars.

Any more than two cars will be charged an additional $10 per car. Vehicles parked without the corresponding permit on record, not parked in the designated parking area, or parked before or after set parking hours will be towed at owner’s expense. Parking permit may be revoked, denied, or not renewed for violations of District rules and regulations. A replacement can be purchased for $10.

RPD Patron Code of Conduct

The game is similar to traditional golf. Players use golf discs instead of balls and clubs and throw them at above-ground targets. The object of the game is to throw a golf disc into the target in the fewest number of throws. The combination of challenges to players, include distance, accuracy, wind, trees, shrubbery, water and terrain changes. The unique challenges offer plenty of action and excitement during the course of a game.

Roselle Park District is committed to providing a safe, clean and fun environment for all participants and guests. By doing so, patrons are required to act appropriately and be respectful of others at all times when using Park District parks and facilities. Persons using Roselle Park District facilities are expected to behave in a mature and responsible manner. The Roselle Park District Code of Conduct does not permit language or any action that may hurt or frighten another person or that falls below a generally accepted standard of conduct. Directions issued by Park District staff must be followed at all times. The following actions are prohibited at Roselle Park District facilities and parks:

• Physical contact with another individual or staff member in an angry, violent or threatening manner • Any demonstration of sexual activity or sexual suggestiveness • Carrying or concealing weapons or devices that may be used as a weapon • Use or possession of illegal chemicals or alcohol on Park District property without proper permits • Abuse of Park District equipment, supplies and property • Theft of services • Smoking and loitering inside or outside of Roselle Park District facilities/grounds • Continuous poor sportsmanship or overaggressive competitiveness from players or spectators • Any other unacceptable behavior including inappropriate dress

The Roselle Police Department is authorized to arrest and/or ticket any persons found to be violating any ordinance or rule of the Roselle Park District, the Village of Roselle, or law of the State of Illinois. Penalties: Fines of $25 to $500; confiscation of the bicycle, skateboard/scooter, or rollerblades; being banned from park district property, facilities, and programs.

We encourage all patrons to be vigilant and report prohibitive acts by other persons. If a prohibitive act is witnessed, please contact Park District staff and we will be happy to be of assistance when parties are found not following the code of conduct. Please inform staff members when rules are being broken so that proper actions may be taken. Any violation of these guidelines may result in: a verbal warning, a written warning, immediate removal from the facility, suspension from Park District property, suspension of membership for a designated period of time or revocation of membership. The Roselle Park District will investigate all reported incidents on a case-by-case basis.

REGISTRATION

Register Online WAIVERS It’s Fast, Covenient, and Available 24/7 In accordance with the Recreation Department policy, all You can now register for programs from the comfort of your home using a credit card 24 hours a day/seven days a week, all through an encrypted and secure internet connection.

To review our online registration, simply log onto the website at www.rparks.org and click REGISTER. What information do I need to register online?

• Username and Password • Credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) Upon payment of your completed online registration, you will be emailed confirmation.

Online Registration Programs will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Some programs will not be available for online registration 24 hours to two business days prior to the program start date.

If you do not have a username and password, we encourage you to go to the register page, select Register Household, and fill out the Online Registration Enrollment Form, you will then be emailed a username and password.

INCLUDE PAYMENT & SIGN WAIVER/ RELEASE Please note that you need to include full payment and a signed waiver and release for your form to be processed.

Credit card payments require an additional signature to authorize payment. For these reasons, we are unable to accept phone-in registrations.

REGISTER EARLY Nothing ruins a good program quicker than everyone waiting until the last minute to register for it. There is a point where if there aren’t enough registrants to hold the program, it is cancelled. Coming in the day of, or the day before the program won’t resurrect it. Please register at least a week early to avoid disappointment.

program participants must sign a hold harmless agreement prior to participation in department sponsored programs. The waivers are on the bottom portion of program registration forms, designated sign-in sheets, and fitness membership applications.

These must be signed by the adult participating in an adult program; and by the parent or legal guardian of participant under 18.

WAITLIST PROCESS A waitlist is formed when a class reaches participant levels beyond the maximum. The waitlist is maintained based on the order we process registrations. Customers will be contacted for confirmation before being added to one of our waitlists (or transferred from a wait list into the desired program) by the front desk or specific program supervisor. Please Note: Before a participant is transferred into a program, all corresponding paperwork and payments are required.

RESIDENCY Not all Roselle residents are Roselle Park District residents.

Even though you may have a Roselle address, you may pay taxes to another park district. Therefore, proof of residency is required when registering for programs for the first time. This may be done with a driver’s license, utility bill, (or a mortgage statement for those who are recently moving to the area).

Roselle Park District residents support the district through property tax contributions.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION WHAT IF I HAVE A SPECIAL NEED? Participants who require special assistance during park district programs should note their needs on the registration form and call (630) 894-4200 to notify the park district. For additional services, please contact the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association at (630) 681-0962. Note: There is a box to check on our program registration form to alert our Front Desk Attendants and Recreation Supervisors that these services are desired for any given program.

WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE? The Roselle Park District does not provide medical coverage for injuries suffered while participating in park district programs, or while using park facilities. The Park District, therefore, cannot assume responsibility for personal injury for persons participating in a recreation program or using facilities. Patrons are advised to make provisions for this coverage in their own personal insurance program.

RETURNED CHECK POLICY We gladly accept personal checks as payment. If for any reason a check is returned to our office marked “NSF,” we will contact you. You will then be required to submit a full cash or money order payment, as well as a $30 bookkeeping fee, within a ten business day period. Class privileges will be suspended, and new registration will not be accepted until payment is received.

TRANSFERS A transfer allows participants to transfer their registration from one program to another, or from one household member to another member of the same household. Transfer requests must be submitted at least two business days before the program’s first class, meeting, or practice. Transfers are not allowed between different households and waitlists cannot be bypassed through a transfer.

REFUND POLICY The Roselle Park District endorses a customer satisfaction policy and strives to provide high quality programs, services, and facilities. However, sometimes expectation levels or situations occur that do not meet the satisfaction of our customers and a refund request is made.

If for any reason you are requesting a refund, please contact the Park District at (630) 894-4200 or come by in person to submit a request.

1. All refund requests must be made at least two business days before the first class, meeting, or practice of program.

2. Trips and special events require reservations and planning weeks ahead of time and therefore do not allow us to accept refund requests unless there is a waitlist, and someone can fill the spot.

3. Individuals requesting refunds with two or more business days’ notice, prior to the first class, meeting, or practice will receive a full refund, less $5 for administrative costs.

4. No refunds will be issued for any program after second meeting of a program unless a physician’s note is provided.

Refund requested for medical reasons will be prorated from the time the request is received.

5. Refunds with facility rental fees: • Cancellation request 30 or more calendar days prior to rental date = full refund (less $20 for administrative costs) • Cancellation request 15-29 calendar days prior to rental date = 50% refund (less $20 for administrative costs) • Cancellation request 6-14 calendar days prior to rental date = 25% refund (less $20 for administrative costs) • Cancellation request 5 or less calendar days prior to rental date = no refund

6. The Park District will not issue refunds for fitness center memberships or Lake Park High School student parking permits.

7. Some classes, programs, and fees have specific refund policies that will be adhered to.

8. The Park District reserves the right to judge refund requests on a case-by-case basis and partial or full refunds may or may not be approved at any time at the discretion of the district.

9. Refunds can take up to fifteen business days.
