Join the Roselle Park District for an evening of socially distant fun as we play bingo and enjoy some social interaction. Each person who would like to attend will need to register. Location is weather permitting, if unable to host the event outside the event will be moved indoors and participants will be notified the day of.

Light Up Bocce Ball! (MW) All Ages

Looking for a fun family game to play at night. Come check out Lighted Bocce Ball at the Roselle Park District. You can rent out the equipment from us for just $10.00 a week. Rentals can be done at the Clauss Recreation Center, 555 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. Registration form and payment will be done at time of rental.

Take & Make Mondays (MW) Various Dates NEW Ages 6+

Want to craft from the comfort of your own home? We have the perfect thing for you! The Roselle Park District is offering Take and Make craft kits for kids, and adults. The adult craft will be a more advanced but similar version of the child’s craft. Craft kits will be available for pick-up the 3rd Monday of the month during front desk hours. Pre-registration is required.

Hoppy Bunny Hops (MW) Saturday, March 20 All Ages

You don’t need to leave the house or travel anywhere to get a visit with the bunny! You can make this holiday special and have the bunny hop to your home and drop off a goodie filled bag of spring surprises! The bunny will stand and wave from a safe social distance while your family stands on your doorstep or front yard, and a picture will be snapped. The bunny will be hopping through Roselle during daytime hours on Saturday, and each family will receive an assigned time.

Fish Release (SS) Saturday, April 10 FREE All Ages

Help restock the pond at Turner Park in Roselle at the annual Fish Release. Participants are provided with buckets to dispense fish into the ponds. Dress appropriately as splashing and muddy conditions are likely. All ages are welcome. Please note that fishing will be unavailable for 2 weeks after the fish release.

Mother’s Day Photos (MW) Saturday, April 17 NEW All Ages In partnership with Photomonkyee

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and it’s time to celebrate! Whether you’re a mom to a little one, multiples, or the grownup kind of kids, it’s time to have your portrait taken with them. Let’s make the time to show off that love to moms and grandmas and all special mother figures.

Photo Shoot Details: Pictures will be taken between 9:00am and 3:00pm on Saturday, April 17 with a rain date of Sunday, April 18. Families will receive an email on Monday, April 12 with scheduled photo shoot time frame. A response to this email verifying information will be required. The photographer will keep a safe social distance staying a minimum of six feet away, and verbally guide you through poses.

Ordering Details: You will receive a $20 credit towards your photo orders. All photos will be available online (a link will be emailed) within 48 hours of your photo shoot, and photo packages will be available for purchase. All photos ordered will be printed and delivered to your house within 5-7 business days of ordering.

Do you have an easy go-to recipe you make for all your holiday parties? Now’s your time to share your delicious recipes with the community! Join us in creating a Virtual Community Cookbook. Once you register you will receive the Virtual Cookbook Submission form. Pick your favorite recipe that falls under one of the following categories: appetizer, main entrée, side dish or dessert and fill out the form. Once completed they can be emailed to Marketing Specialist, Bianca Hervig at bhervig@rparks.org. Recipe submissions are limited to one per person and will be accepted April 19-30. Once completed the cookbook will be shared virtually on our website for everyone to use!
