He is a former Deputy Chief of Staff and Press Secretary for Louisiana Governor Buddy Roemer. For more than 25 years, he was an award-winning newspaper in Louisiana, Florida, South Carolina and Virginia and has consulted with The Washington Post, The New York Times, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, HGTV, La Nacion (Costa Rica), La Nacion (Buenos Aires), and many others.

Carlos de León Carlos has over a decade of experience in South Texas, where he has worked in public affairs, communications and economic development. Currently, he leads the San Antonio office for the Romph Pou Agency. He has represented clients across multiple industries including healthcare, finance, higher education, tech and real estate development. Prior to agency work, Carlos worked for a binational think tank based in San Antonio focused on US-Mexico relations. He has also worked in higher education with the University of the Incarnate Word.

Carlos has served his community as Director of Community Engagement for Bexar County Commissioner Tommy Calvert.

Currently, she serves as Group Account Director with the Romph Pou Agency, where she oversees clients’ overall strategy, planning, and management. As Group Account Director, she supervises all account service team functions in the agency’s retail, healthcare and automotive division.

Ed Walsh Ed Walsh is the PR Manager for the Romph Pou Agency. Prior to agency work, Ed had a distinguished 25-year career as a broadcast journalist in Louisiana and Maine. Ed currently provides PR and community engagement solutions for clients where he oversees media relations, PR and communication engagement strategies for clients, including specializing in healthcare public relations.
