Roy Gagaza

Roy began his professional life in the military, first serving for several years in a reserve role before moving to active duty as an Armor Officer. He completed demanding parachute and ranger training and led tank soldiers during primary operations in the Middle East. He later commanded a cavalry unit overseas and worked as an operations and training officer, helping prepare Army units at multiple levels for complex deployments in support of national missions. Gagaza earned recognition during his military career through multiple combat deployments and received a distinguished combat medal for his service in key operations. Midway through his service, he began planning for a future in financial services, drawing on his business marketing degree from a state university in San Jose, California. While still on active duty, including a year-long deployment to the Middle East in 2004, he met with clients, hosted educational seminars, and pursued professional credentials in estate planning and financial consulting.
