The ROYD team recently concluded a highly successful few days representing SMART and TRACER at the recent Eisenwarenmesse International Trade Fair in Cologne. With 38,000 trade visitors from 133 countries, including key international partners in attendance, this exhibition provided an exceptional platform to spotlight the unparalleled offerings of our brands.
Our TRACER stand showcased our wide product range, from our construction markers to precision measuring tools. Plus, our newest products were on display, offering attendees sneak peaks at our latest innovations and offering an exclusive glimpse into the future of our offerings.
Simultaneously, our SMART stand captivated visitors with its latest innovations, including the Made in the Britain range and our newest additions to the SMART Trade range.
Our marketing team were also in attendance where they hosted a get together for a group of our committed influencers.
The exhibition served as a testament to our unwavering dedication to excellence, showcasing the superior quality and innovation that define our brands and sets us apart as leaders in the market.
As our TRACER range continues to grow, we have decided up update the TRACER website and introduce a new homepage that presents our range seamlessly. We have divided our range into three categories: Construction Markers, Measuring Tools, and Marking Sets. This is to ultimately make the navigation side of things easier, especially when trying to find specific products within the range.

We are excited to expand our TRACER product range and introduce our latest innovations. Available soon to the range are the latest TRACER measuring and marking tools - Carpenter Square, Speed Square and Combination Square, Laser Measure, and the Long Nib Marker.
The TRACER Carpenter Square is a robust but lightweight aluminium body featuring clear laser etched markings that are resistant to wear and tear. Along with two sets of angle lines for internal and external pivot points, and precise 0-90° angle marking. The lower 250mm/10” ruler allows for measuring and marking along the inner edge of the square, while the upper 300mm/12” ruler allows for measuring and marking along the outer edge of the square.
Crafted with durability and functionality in mind, the TRACER Speed Square is a robust, yet lightweight tool made from aluminium. Its designed facilitates simple 0-90° marking through pivoting and marking along the long edge, ensuring precision in every task.
Equipped with both horizontal and vertical rulers, the Speed Square offers versatility in measurements and markings. The horizontal ruler enables quick measurements or markings from the inside edge, while the vertical ruler facilitates measurements or markings from the T-section of the square.
The square incorporates durability and precision with its robust yet lightweight aluminium construction, complemented by laser-etched markings resistant to wear and tear. This tool features two sets of angle lines for both internal and external pivot points, facilitating accurate measurements and marking. Designed with versatility in mind, the square features a lower 250/10” ruler for precise measurements along its inner edge, while the upper 300mm/12” ruler enhances functionality, enabling seamless marking and measuring tasks.
Available in both metric and imperial options, this square caters to diverse preferences and needs, making it a reliable companion for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike.

The 12”/300mm and 7”/175mm options, the Speed Square features metric and hip and valley rafter scales for roofing purposes.
Moreover the 12”/300mm square features pre-calculated hip and valley scales for rafter marking in degrees, alongside a unique 1/3 rafter scribe guide.
Additionally, the 4.5”/100mm square includes unique quick reference marking guides for 22.5°, 30°, 45°, and 67.5°.

Additionally, we are pleased to introduce our first laser measure tool to the range. This is a 100m (328ft) laser distance measurer with high-visibility green beam and multiple measuring functions, including angle, distance, volume and more.
Finally, introducing the TRACER Long Nib Marker – the ultimate solution for permanent construction marking needs. Crafted to precision, this marker pen is designed for deep hole marking, reaching depths of up to 40mm (1.5”) effortlessly.
Achieve precise 45° and 90° angle marking effortlessly using the diagonal and horizontal edges, while the easily adjustable slide mechanism guarantees repeatable marking accuracy.
Crafted from robust yet lightweight aluminium, this tool offers durability without compromising on portability. Available in 150mm (6”) and 300mm (12” options, the Combination Square caters to a wide range of needs, making it an essential addition to any toolbox.
Equipped with built-in memory, our laser measurer can effortlessly store data for each measuring session, ensuring convenience and efficiency. Plus, users have the flexibility to switch between metric and imperial scales, catering to individual preferences and project requirements.
