WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING NEWS Due to the continued growth across our three brands, we have identified a need to provide additional support across a variety of departments. To this end, we are thrilled to continue expanding the team to ensure we increase our capacity, skill and ability within the team going forward.
NEW STARTERS JILL PLUME Jill joins the team bringing a wealth of sales experience and knowledge that will be channelled into setting up the new Telesales department. This will greatly help us increase the contact and support to an ever-growing number of stockists and ensure more than ever before, they are up to speed with latest developments and offers.
LIAM JOHNSON Liam joins the team as our new Warehouse Manager, bringing great experience to our warehouse and operations team. Liam will ensure efficiency and compliance at the warehouse is maintained to make sure every order is shipped same day and our OTIF (On Time In Full) metric is maintained at +98%!
BRODIE MURPHY Brodie joins the team as Telesales Support and he is the latest family member to join! Brodie will be supporting the telesales team with all the necessary support they need, arranging the mailouts, email campaigns and any follow up required. Brodie is vital cog to ensure we are keeping in front of all our fantastic customers and providing them with any details or information they need.
PHIL CATTLEY
Joining as a Marketing Assistant, Phil is the latest team member to join the Marketing Department. Phil’s responsibilities include copy writing, managing our online presence and managing our product data and media libraries for both internal and external use. Phil will provide a crucial link between all the functions within marketing as well as other departments.

TRADE DAYS It’s been a busy year so far for our sales team at ROYD who have regularly been travelling across the country supporting various trade events and showcasing the latest ROYD innovations.
So far, our sales team have participated in over 70 trade mornings/days with our distributors, creating great interaction with the end user. The purpose of trade day events is to support branches who have made a commitment to stocking our brands. As well as increase brand awareness and educate end user customers about the benefits of the Optimaxx, SMART and TRACER products. Additionally, but of equal importance, this is an opportunity to educate the branch staff about our product benefits and to get them enthused about selling ROYD brands. Our sales team will continue to support trade events up and down the country throughout the rest of the year.

SMART FILM THEIR FIRST DUTCH VIDEO SERIES We are very pleased to announce we will soon be launching our first Dutch video series for SMART
Aimed at targeting Dutch tradespeople, we worked with Danny Visser, a DIY enthusiast based in Belgium, to produce informative videos and discuss a range of multi-tool topics to ultimately educate multi-tool beginners. From speed settings to different uses of the multi-tool, this series will ultimately provide DIYers and multi-tool beginners with the knowledge they need to use the tool effectively.
101 USES OF A MULTI-TOOL VIDEO SERIES RETURNS! As experts in the multi-tool industry, we feel it’s important to share our knowledge to tradespeople and DIYers to ensure users get the most out of their multi-tool. As a result, we created the “101 Uses of a Multi-Tool” video series which focuses on the many uses of the SMART multi-tool blades, as well as sharing useful tips and tricks. TRACER PROMITRE TOOL Professional construction marker brand TRACER announces the release of their latest measuring tool.

The horizontal face features a right angle marking and depth measuring feature to allow you to easily mark 90° on your material, then using the measuring scale to mark the depth. Next to the right-angle guide is a precise parallel marking feature from 1-55mm. These measurements go up in 1mm increments and is designed for quick and easy parallel marking for the desired depth and length. Also included on the horizontal face is a 10°-80° protractor to easily mark angles with a pre-set measurement of 30°, 45° and 60° lines. Plus, with an integrated ruler, you can easily achieve precise measurements of up to 150mm. Similarly, the vertical face includes a range of uses, including a large, detailed 0°-90° protractor along the outside edge. This is the most convenient way to mark on an angle, therefore you can be sure you will achieve the perfect, accurate mark every time. To the left of the face is a smaller detailed 10°-80° protractor with a pre-set of 30°, 45° and 60° markings. Plus, marking 45° couldn’t be simpler with the vertical face end made exactly at a 45° angle designed to mark corner joints. The tool also includes a unique pre-set dovetail guides set at the most used sizes of 1:7 and 1:5 for easy marking. These guides will allow experts and amateur woodworkers to achieve professional results with less effort. Plus, by using the detailed depth measurement placed next to the template, you can accurately measure the depth of your dovetail. Finally, with a drill gauge you can quickly determine required hole sizes with this easy reference scale.
