July Performance
Toolstation Together 2023
July was a very strong month for us, anybody present for the Monday Morning team calls will have noted that the sales charts for this month were all highlighted in green.
On August 30/31st, Bob and Norman will be attending the Toolstation Together Conference. The event will be a great opportunity to network with Toolstation Managers and upper echelon.
Sales were up nearly 20% compared to the same period last year which is a testament to the huge effort made across the sales team and the rest of the company.

Save the Date TRACER Screwfix Launch - 14th August
Brodie’s Trade Day Success Data Literacy Training Mudy and the Operations team are hard at work with a new data training platform for the business. We have partnered with Enterprise DNA, a company that works with the likes of Coca-Cola, Unilever and more, to increase the team's data literacy.
Sales Team Update On July 26th, to support of the sales team, Brodie got hands-on and did his first trade day at the Basildon branch of Howdens. Congratulations to Brodie, he said that it was a hard day's work but Norman was pleased with his results.
Welcome back, Kim! The accounts team is pleased to announce that Kim will be officially starting back with the team this month, with her Keep in Touch days coming to an end. Please give her a warm welcome back when you see her.
While the team unfortunately had to say goodbye to Dave Allsopp this week, On August 24th, the sales team will be welcoming Michael Scheffer as ROYD’s new National Accounts Manager for the UK and EU region. He will be assisting Norman and will be a valuable asset to the company.
Screwfix Live Preparation The Marketing Team completed a test build of the Screwfix Live stand. The design team are now hard at work preparing new banners and activities for the stand. We have enlisted an influencer called Scott Godfrey to build a bespoke storage unit and tv stand for the show.
