Over recent years, SMART have invested massively into increasing operational capacity to ensure service levels never falter, even with a growing global customer base and extensive product range.

In 2022, our operational capacity and service levels are at an all-time high. We are pleased to offer fast delivery on over 200 products due to a large stockholding in strategic locations across the world, enabling us to deliver on full, in time with a success rate over 98%.

We are committed to ensuring you never lose potential business due to supply chain disruptions. To strengthen this commitment, we hold 3 months of safety stock in our regional distribution centres for key product lines, ensuring a high inventory service level.

Furthermore, we make use of real time data analytics and machine learning algorithms to compute the optimum supply chain inventory levels. It allows us to respond quickly to changes in buying behaviours, which is then communicated to our suppliers. Our systems also trigger automated alerts letting us know when changes occur, so our demand planners can adjust the inventory plan accordingly.
