Day 1 Beijing – Arrival

Begin the day with a visit to Tian’anmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Continue to the Forbidden City, exploring its expansive palaces, pavilions, courtyards, and gardens. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace and take a relaxing cruise on Kunming Lake (weather permitting, available April through October). After the tour, return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 3 Beijing (B/L/D)
In the morning, visit the iconic Great Wall of China. Stop at a Beijing Jade Carving Factory, followed by lunch at its Friendship restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Sacred Way and Ming Tombs, renowned for being the best-preserved Chinese Imperial Tombs with over 500 years of history. In the evening, enjoy a Peking Duck dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, visit the majestic Temple of Heaven, where ancient dynastic rulers worshipped the gods and ancestors. Continue to the Lama Temple, a renowned monastery of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. Enjoy a traditional Beijing Noodle lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to the airport for the flight to Xian. Upon arrival, meet with our local representatives and transfer to the hotel. Today, enjoy the magnificent scenery while cruising on the Yangtze waters. In the morning, an optional shore excursion offers a visit to Xiaoguanshan Ancient Folk Culture. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted for Shibaozhai. After the excursion, return to the ship and continue sailing. In the evening, enjoy the Romance of the Three Kingdom show onboard.
In the morning, cruise along the Yangtze River through the limestone cliffs of the famous Three Gorges. Sail through Qutang Gorge, the most spectacular of these three large gorges, and continue to Wu Gorge, home to the legendary Twelve Peaks. Enjoy a shore excursion to Goddess Stream, a narrow channel with fast-flowing waters. Depending on river conditions, an alternate excursion to Shennong Stream may be arranged.
After breakfast onboard, disembark from Maoping Pier, and join the shore excursion to the Three Gorge Dam Site. After the morning excursion, take a shuttle to Yichang Three Gorges Center Cruise Terminal, and meet with our local representatives, and transfer to Yichang airport for the onward or homebound flight.

Start the day with a trip to Pandora, ascending by Bailong Elevator to explore Yuanjiajie, a natural platform surrounded by towering rocks and deep valleys, featuring the iconic Hallelujah Mountain from the film Avatar. Continue to Tianzi Mountain for breathtaking views before descending by Yuanjiajie Cable Car. Return to the hotel. Lunch and dinner will be at local restaurants.

After breakfast, visit Baofeng Lake, located high in the mountains and surrounded by lush green trees and stone peaks of various shapes, creating a fairytalelike atmosphere. The lake, fed by the purest runoff water from the mountain peaks, offers pristine natural scenery. After lunch, visit Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, and enjoy hiking, boating, zip lining, and walking across the world’s highest and longest glass bridge.

Drive by the National Diet Building, the center of Japan's government, on the way to the Tokyo Tower’s main deck for a 360-degree panoramic view from the observatory. Next, visit Sensoji Temple, Tokyo's oldest temple, and Nakamise Shopping Street. Continue with a drive by Kabukiza, the iconic Japanese-style theater, before arriving at Tokyo Station to conclude the tour. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Today, leave Tokyo and travel by coach to Mt. Fuji. Visit the 5th Station at an elevation of 2,300 meters and enjoy stunning views. Next, take the Komagatake Ropeway, offering magnificent vistas of Hakone National Park. Continue with a cruise on Lake Ashi before boarding a bullet train to Kyoto. Upon arrival in Kyoto, meet with our local representatives, who will assist in boarding a taxi to the hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

In the afternoon, return to Hiroshima and visit the Peace Memorial Park and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. The park, established in 1949, is a symbol of peace, and the museum serves as a reminder of the horrors of atomic bombs. After breakfast, hop on an open-top bus tour along Fukuoka's scenic seaside highway. Take in views of the Fukuoka PayPay Dome, Japan’s first domed stadium, and the Fukuoka Tower, the tallest seaside tower in Japan. In the afternoon, join another open-top bus tour to explore the historical areas including Kushida Shrine, the city center streets of Hakata, and the Fukuoka Castle Ruins. After breakfast, visit Shurijo Castle Park, once the administrative center and residence of the Ryukyu kings for several centuries until Okinawa became a Japanese prefecture in 1879. This UNESCO World Heritage site is part of the Castles of the Ryukyu Kingdom. While the main buildings of Shuri Castle were tragically destroyed by fire in 2019, ongoing reconstruction efforts provide insight into the castle’s historical significance. Following the visit, enjoy free time to explore the city.
In the morning, meet with our local representatives and transfer to Kokusai Street, a street that stretches 1.36 km through the city center. Enjoy exploring all the stores, bars and restaurants that lined the street, a truly one-stop shopping area for everything Okinawa.

Continue to the National Museum of Korea, a treasure trove of Korean art and relics. Proceed to COEX Mall, a hub of trends and culture, and spend some time at the open public space, Byeolmadang Library. The final stop is the N Seoul Tower observatory on Mt. Namsan, offering a panoramic view of Seoul. After the tour, return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.
In the morning, visit the Korean Folk Village, where people practice the traditional lifestyle of the 18th-19th centuries. Continue to Mt. Songnisan National Park to visit Beopjusa Temple (UNESCO Site), home to Korea's tallest Buddha
statue. After the tour, travel to Daegu via expressway, check in to the hotel, and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, visit the Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine and Seomun Market, one of the three main markets from the Joseon dynasty. Then, transfer to Gyeongju, known as the "Museum without walls." Visit the Cheomseongdae Astronomical Observatory and the Royal Tumuli Park, where an excavated royal tomb is open for exploration. After the tour, transfer to the hotel in Gyeongju and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, explore Gyeongju by visiting Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO Site) and Seokguram Grotto (UNESCO Site), which houses a monumental statue of Buddha. In the afternoon, visit the four-faced stone Buddha statues at Gulbulsaji site and the Tomb of King Wonseong. Afterwards, enjoy a scenic drive to Guryongpo Port for a beautiful coastal experience.

(Royal Scenic) reserves the right to change prices in the event of any price revision by the applicable supplier that is beyond the control of Royal Scenic. The pricing in the brochure is current at the time of printing and subject to change thereafter without notice. RESERVATIONS
Please contact your travel agent to make reservations. We recommend that tour reservations be made at least 60 days prior to the scheduled departure date for all destinations. A nonrefundable deposit of $350.00 per person is required at the time of booking. The balance of payment is due 60 days prior to the scheduled departure date. For any booking made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required.
We reserve the right to cancel the booking if full payment is not received by the due date and the applicable cancellation penalties will apply.

REFUNDS
All claims for refunds must be made in writing through the travel agent that purchased the tour. No refund is allowed for unused tour services. All claims for a refund must be presented to Royal Scenic within 21 days after completion of the tour.
INSURANCE
We strongly recommend all travelers purchase insurance for trip cancellation, hospital, medical, baggage and trip delay due to weather, mechanical problems, or schedule change. Insurance must be purchased at the time of booking.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The brochure has been written to provide a complete and accurate description of the product and travel service offered. Occasionally, changes may occur, and every effort will be made by Royal Scenic to provide prompt advice to our travel agency partner in advance. Travelers should be aware that there may be different living standards and conditions with respect to services and accommodations. Similarly, each country has unique features, which differ from what Canadians are familiar with, including weather, food and customs etc. This may be less that a traveler may expect from Canadian standards.
Royal Scenic is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience resulting from different living standards or variations.
TOUR PACKAGE INCLUDES
All Asia & The World packages include accommodation as listed or comparable, sightseeing and meals as specified in the itinerary, all hotel and airport transfers. Regional economy airfare, where applicable, may be included in some itinerary. Flight bags are provided depending on the type and duration of the booked package. Taxes and surcharges for hotels are included for the duration of the stay. All Asia & The World packages are land only packages excluding International airfare. If required, please enquire for the best airfare prices at the time of booking request.
Insurance, airport taxes, transportation of excess baggage, laundry, liquor, use of telephone, gratuities for local guides/drivers/tour director, visa fees and any item not mentioned as specified are excluded.
TAXES AND SERVICE CHARGES
All travel services are subject to taxes and service charges. The exact taxes and amounts vary by destination, season and package selected.
These charges are subject to change. Forms of payment accepted are: agency cheque, e-transfer, bank deposit or major credit card.
HOTEL
Rooms are provided as specified and meet the quality standards applied by Royal Scenic. Royal Scenic reserves the right to substitute hotels for a similar category should it become necessary due to circumstances beyond the company’s control.
BAGGAGE
For Transpacific Economy class the free baggage allowance is either one or two suitcases, depending on the air carrier’s baggage policy. The maximum weight per bag is 23kg (50lb) and the total dimensions cannot exceed 158cm (62in). For domestic flights within China the baggage allowance is restricted to one piece per passenger with a maximum weight of 20kg (44lb). Different airlines may have different baggage allowances.
We strongly advise that you reconfirm the baggage allowance with your carrier prior to departure. The owner assumes full responsibility for their bags throughout the tour. Royal Scenic is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any traveler’s personal belongings however caused. Royal Scenic highly recommends all travelers purchase travel insurance.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Royal Scenic advises that all travel documents are the responsibility of the traveler. Passports must be valid 6 months after the end of the tour for most countries. It is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain the required travel visa for entry to the country.
Vaccinations are not required currently but is subject to change. Canadian style medical attention is subject to availability overseas.
In order to ensure smooth operation of the tours our ground handling travel agency requires exclusion of any person whose health condition makes them unsuitable for long trips due to mental illness, serious, chronic or contagious illness, advanced pregnancy, senility or infirmity.
RSH Travel Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the company”), makes arrangements with suppliers such as airlines, coach companies, transfer operators, hotel and other independent parties as an agent upon the condition that the company is not liable or responsible for any claims, losses, damages, cost or expenses arising out of personal injury, accidents or death, loss, damage delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress and frustration, whether physical or mental, resulting from the following:
• The act of omission of any party other than Royal Scenic or its employees;
• Sickness, theft, labour disputes, mechanical breakdown, quarantine, government actions, weather, or any other cause beyond our direct control;
• Your failure to obtain the documentation required for your trip such as passports, visas, and certificates (in which case you will also not be entitled to any refund);
• Your failure to follow instructions including but not limited to airport departure times, baggage handling, and check-in and check-out times;
• Cancellation or change for any reason in the travel services offered, we reserve the right to cancel or change the travel services at our discretion, but we will try to substitute comparable services. If we must completely cancel your reservation. Royal Scenic liability will be limited to a refund of all monies paid;
• A full refund, however, will not be honoured in situations where travel must be cancelled by Royal Scenic for reasons which are beyond its control (force majeure situations: weather, riots, etc.) and where Royal Scenic contractual obligations with its suppliers does not allow it to obtain reimbursement of the sums paid to the supplier on behalf of the customer.
Royal Scenic takes great care in selecting the suppliers of services. The suppliers are independent parties over which we have no direct control. Supplier’s liability may be limited by law, tariffs, or conditions. It is important travelers read and understand the limitations of liability set forth in supplier documentation.
Reservation of the tour package in this brochure confirms you have read, understood and agreed to each and all the above conditions and limits of responsibility.
No person, other than an authorized representative of the company by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add or waive any term or condition in this brochure, including any term or condition set forth in the proceeding provisions.
We do our best to give your customers an enjoyable trouble-free holiday but occasionally even the best-laid plans can go wrong. If your customers have a problem during their holiday, they are required to immediately inform the relevant supplier (e.g. hotel) who will endeavour to put things right during the course of the stay.
Hotels and suppliers are more likely to help us resolve matters or achieve refunds if your passengers report any problems during their stay. We cannot accept liability in respect of any complaint which is not reported to us during the passenger stay, or within 21 days of the completion of services.
If the complaint is not resolved locally, please follow up this within 21 days of the completion of services and provide us with your original booking reference number and all other relevant information. Royal Scenic will:
a. acknowledge complaints in writing within 3 days
b. investigate all complaints arising and to respond within 14 days of receipt from all relevant information from you
c. do our utmost to ensure that the cause of the complaint does not repeat and to keep our suppliers informed in order to take the necessary steps to provide the best service to our clients
Royal Scenic does not manage, control or operate any hotel or any other supplier of services. Royal Scenic and / or its agents and suppliers, give notice that all vouchers issued for accommodation are made by them as agents for its clients, upon express condition that they assume no responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, which may occur either by reason or defect or through the acts of any hotel proprietor or employee or company or person engaged in providing the accommodation arrangements.
