Exemption Letters
If your child is well enough to be in school, they should be able to participate in all activities, including swimming. However, if for genuine medical reasons your child is unable to participate fully in PE, Games or swimming, please send an email to the PE staff and to your class teacher explaining the reasons why. This should be before the start of the day to enable staff to make suitable arrangements for the care of children not participating
Catering
As ever, our catering team aims to provide pupils with a healthy and varied menu. We are fully committed to meeting the dietary requirements of all pupils.
All children are offered a choice of a piece of fruit at mid-morning break. At lunch time, pupils are provided with a full meal from a broad and nutritious menu. For Lower Juniors, morning snacks and lunch are included in our School fees; for Upper Junior Tea is also included.
A weekly menu is available on Firefly.
If your child has a special dietary requirement based on religious or medical grounds, the School will seek to provide a suitable alternative. Please complete a new Medical Information Form on Firefly, providing as much detail as possible. In the case of a proven medical allergy please complete the Firefly Medical Information Form and upload a supporting letter from your doctor, confirming the diagnosis, and provide full details of the foods which must be avoided and pass any medication, which must be available in the event of an allergic reaction, to the Medical Centre.
It is a parent’s responsibility to ensure that all medication is in date.
