The Ferryhill Railway Heritage Centre is based at the former motive power depot at Ferryhill in Aberdeen. The Ferryhill Railway Heritage Trust was established in 2007 to take over the remaining building and turntable of the. depot, restore them and transform the site into a working railway heritage site for the North East of Scotland. A group from the Royal Photographic Society visited the site in October 2023. This is a selection of their images from the day.

Taking a break for lunch

The photographers would like to thank the trustees and volunteers of the Ferryhill Railway Heritage Trust for allowing us to visit and photograph their site and for their hospitality which helped make for a splendid day out.
