Bip Wetherell is proud to present Rock The Decades featuring The Telstars playing classic hits from the ’50s and ’60s. Special guests Genesis Connect will also play hits from the ’80s and ’90s with tributes to Phil Collins, Mike And The Mechanics and, of course, Genesis. Their vocalist is Corby born Pete Brett, a finalist in TV’s Stars In Your Eyes. This concert is raising money for PROSTaid, a Northamptonshire Prostate Cancer Support Group and LifeLite, a charity who give life-limited and disabled children opportunities they would not otherwise have.

Dreaming Our Woods Fri 5 - Sun 7 May 8pm

Join us in a multimedia transformation of space, time and place inspired by the woodlands of Corby.

This amazing experience will be directed by singer and songwriter Barb Jungr, choreographer Neil Paris and sound and light artist Kurt Laurenz Theinert, leading a team of performers.

This will be followed by a night-time walk through Thoroughsale Wood, led by Cat Gerrard, where Fabulous Flowers Of The Forest made by Corby Primary School children (with artist Sophie Cullinan) and Magical Creatures made by students at Brooke Weston Academy (with artists Iris Bertz and John Bell) will illuminate the way.

Projected woodland creatures at the Boating Lake, created by the people of Corby, will continue the magic, with refreshing snacks and drinks available from the Boating Lake Cafe.

Formed in 1989, with members ranging in age from nine to 19, Youth Brass 2000 are the highest ranking youth band in the UK. Originally commissioned by Winchester City Council, the play is constructed from the words of Winchester’s 90-year-old residents, and invites audiences to a celebration like no other, where guests are invited to take tea alongside partygoers with nine decades of stories to share.

Through this work we want people to have fun, learn new skills and perhaps develop ambitions for themselves within the arts. We have bursaries available for most activities (see page 28 for details), so there are no barriers for anyone wanting to Get Involved. Wednesdays 6.30pm-8pm Core Ensemble, aimed at young people aged 18-25, work on a variety of projects throughout the academic year. Each term, members will explore different theatrical techniques and have the chance to develop as a company and create their own work.

Shakespearience Corby, developed delivered and created by local young people, offers fun and exciting ways to engage with Shakespeare that has taken stimulus from Corby itself.

Access Ticketing Scheme In July 2017, we are making important changes to our access ticketing policy. As well as providing adapted shows for our audiences with certain access needs, we also recognise that it is just as important for us to be prepared for when customers with additional specific needs visit us.

Over the next few weeks we will be sending out application forms to customers who have previously booked a disabled discounted ticket and inviting them to join this free scheme.

The registration process allows you to tell us about any specific needs you have which will affect your booking and to apply for free* or discounted tickets should you need extra assistance during your visit. In exchange, we will be able to prioritise specific areas or seating according to your needs.

If you think you, or someone you care for, may qualify for tickets under our new scheme we would also encourage you to register by either downloading the form from our website,
