The Table Sessions Are you a theatre maker with a new play in development? Are you ready to see your work brought to life by a creative team and viewed by a live audience? Are you ready to receive some valuable feedback? Working in partnership with The Playwright’s Laboratory, we are seeking new plays for a monthly series of table read sessions in our Lab studio theatre space. Your play will be worked on for a day with professional actors and a director before a live table read in the evening. What We Are Looking For… We are looking for both short (5 to 15 minute) plays and longer (45 to 75 minute) plays that can be read with a maximum of 5 actors, utilising double ups if necessary. Plays will be read by a diverse panel from The Core and The Playwright’s Laboratory and those that are likely to benefit most from the process will be selected. There will be one reading per month from February 2023 to June 2023. Deadline for the first round of submissions is Mon 5 January at 5pm. There will be subsequent rounds after this date so please keep in touch. For more information contact
