It has been another hugely successful year at the Royal College of Music, and you have all played your part in enabling the RCM to retain its position as one of the world’s leading conservatoires. Among many highlights, in February the College was awarded a Queen Elizabeth Prize for Education, the highest national honour in UK higher and further education, in recognition of the transformational work of our Centre for Performance Science – which also celebrated its 25th anniversary this year.
Our international community, embracing over 60 different nationalities, represents a truly global network of alumni, and I strongly encourage today’s graduands to take full advantage of the RCM’s alumni network and Creative Careers Centre, offering you professional advice and opportunities for up to five years after graduation.
