Project Update: HVAC Project—3N On May 16, 2010 the winds were calm and Vancouver Island Helicopters (VIH) were able to lift the HVAC equipment on to the roof. If you missed it, it was a spectacular sight to see….. this picture is courtesy of VIH.

The HVAC equipment, is now being installed and connected. Start up and commissioning of the equipment will begin early this fall.

Many have been wondering what that big very hole on the east side of the building is for…. we are constructing a new concrete emergency generator room for our new emergency generators. The fuel tank for the generators has now been installed and they’ve started on installation of the mechanical piping. The concrete work is nearly finished; installation of new railings is out for tender on BC Bid; planning is underway to relocate plants from the native plant garden to the concrete new planters and the transplanting will begin in
