Rock band’s stolen guitar recovered two years later

A vintage guitar belonging to Canadian rock band 54-40 has been recovered in Surrey – more than two years after it was stolen in NewWestminster. In October 2018, seven vintage guitars and an un-
disclosed amount of equipment belonging to 54-40 were stolen from a cube van that was parked overnight outside of Queen’s Park Care Centre. At the time, a tip led NewWestminster police to a storage facility in Surrey, where five of the stolen guitars and some equipment were
found. Now, a sixth stolen guitar has resurfaced. The RCMP’s Upper FraserValley Regional Detachment announced last week that a guitar belonging to 54-40 was among a cache of stolen property located in Surrey. Chilliwack RCMP’s crime
