A few words from our CEO, JESSICA, and her brother FREDRIK, Deputy CEO — the third generation of the Hammargren family leading Rowico Home.
Our next chapter Rooted in strong values and a deep understanding of everyday life in the home, we at Rowico Home continue to develop as a Scandinavian furniture brand built on long-term thinking, quality and responsibility. Our ambition has always been to create furniture where life truly happens — pieces designed to be used, lived with and passed on. Every collection is carefully shaped, so that comfort, function and design come together in a balanced, timeless and durable expression. Today, we stand at an important stage in our journey. With a clear focus on the future, we continue to invest in design, product development and the structures that support our long-term growth. Throughout 2026, this continuous development becomes increasingly visible in our collections, where materials, proportions and details are further refined to create a more confident, contemporary and distinctive expression. Natural materials, soft shapes and tactile textures remain central, while our design language evolves with clarity, intention and a strong sense of identity.
It all started in 1971 Rowico Home was founded in 1971 in Halmstad, Sweden. What began with a focus on Italian-style furniture evolved into a distinctly Scandinavian collection defined by clean lines, quality craftsmanship and functional design. Over the years, Rowico Home has grown with a strong focus on long-term choices, responsible materials and thoughtful design. Today, Rowico Home creates Scandinavian-designed furniture rooted in family values, experience and a clear vision for the future.

In 2025, Fredrik Hammargren stepped into the role of Deputy CEO, and together we now lead the company into its next chapter. With a shared vision and complementary perspectives, we continue to strengthen the organisation and create the conditions needed for long-term progress and sustainable growth. Looking ahead, we are investing in the future through new initiatives, digital development and a new warehouse and office in Halmstad. More than just a workplace, it represents a long-term commitment to growth, efficiency and collaboration, creating better conditions for how we work and how we continue to develop our collections. These investments support our ambition to grow as a brand and reach more homes, allowing us to expand into new markets and connect with a broader international audience. With strong values, a clear direction and a shared belief in thoughtful, long-lasting design, we at Rowico Home move forward with confidence — creating Scandinavian-designed furniture for the homes, moments and generations to come.

When we first explored Rowico Home’s latest collection, what stood out to us was how naturally it speaks to the way we live today. Rooted in Scandinavian design heritage with subtle references to earlier decades, the collection feels calm, confident and quietly expressive. It offered a strong foundation for us to build a visual story around – one that feels both contemporary and enduring. In our creative direction and styling, we worked consciously with personal expression. Rather than presenting the furniture in fixed sets, we wanted to show how the pieces can be combined more freely. Mixing chairs around the dining table that don’t necessarily belong to the same series, or breaking up lighter woods with darker tones, creates depth and a more lived-in feeling. The focus was on finding balance - allowing variation while maintaining a clear red thread through form, proportion and

materiality. This reflects a broader shift we see in interiors today. Homes are becoming more layered and individual, with furniture that adapts to different contexts and expressions depending on how it’s styled. Rowico Home’s collection embraces this flexibility. One piece we instantly connected with was Kilian, a console table with an airy expression and balanced proportions. Styled sparsely, it reads as minimal and architectural; layered with objects, it becomes warmer and more personal. Kilian allows the styling to set the mood. The Barnaby armchair reflects a key direction we explored together with Rowico Home throughout the season – comfort paired with elegance. Its rounded forms and refined wooden details give it a sculptural yet inviting presence. Around the dining table, Barnaby works beautifully both on its own and mixed with other chair

models. Through textile choices and wood tones, it can easily shift expression. A styling advantage is that Barnaby is also available as a lounge chair, allowing the same design language to flow through different spaces in the home. At the heart of the collection sits the Derrymore dining table — a piece particularly close to us, thanks to its timeless design and solid wood craftsmanship. Its presence brings a sense of dignity and quiet confidence to a room, while remaining easy to style both classically and more modern, depending on the choice of chairs and surrounding details. Overall, we find the collection timeless yet current – furniture designed to last, both in quality and expression.

Inspiration
WHERE WE CREATE What begins as a temporary stay soon becomes a shared space for ANDREA TSANG and JOSEFIN TOLSTOY — a place for ideas, colour and form, where conversation and creativity flow naturally.
In an apartment in Copenhagen, ceramicist Andrea Tsang and artist Josefin Tolstoy come together for a weekend of working side by side. For a few days, their temporary home becomes more than just a place to stay – it turns into a sanctuary for ideas, colour, form and conversation. Two creatives with different expressions, yet a shared view of the home as a place for balance, creativity and human warmth. The Home as a Foundation for Balance and Inspiration For Andrea, the home is a refuge. It is where she spends most of her time – whether sharing moments with her family or sitting quietly with her own thoughts. Over the years, the home has grown increasingly important, becoming a grounding space that allows for reflection, balance and renewal. Josefin shares a similar perspective. Her home has always played a central role in her life – a place to recharge and spend time with her family. Through different stages of life, the shape of home has changed, but the need to create a space that feels safe, calm and truly her own has remained constant.

The Power of Colour Both Andrea and Josefin share a strong sensitivity to colour and to how their surroundings affect their mood and well-being. For Andrea, colour is non-negotiable. If the tones around her do not feel right, it becomes difficult to relax. Colour is not simply decoration – it sets the emotional tone of a space. Josefin, too, needs the atmosphere to feel right. Natural daylight, a colour palette that resonates with her, and a few carefully chosen objects collected over time are essential. Her interest in neuroaesthetics – how beauty affects the brain – has reinforced her belief that aesthetics can bring calm and joy, making the home a form of everyday therapy. For both, colour and form are not just about visual expression, but about creating harmony that supports creativity and everyday life. Furniture that Encourages Creativity and Togetherness Just as important as colour are the pieces of furniture that shape each room. They do more than serve a function – they define how life is lived. A dining table can become a place for focused work and creative exploration, while the sofa invites rest, laughter and connection. Furniture becomes both a backdrop and an active participant in the story of the home. This is exactly what unfolds during Andrea and Josefin’s meeting in Copenhagen. Over the weekend, the dining area fills with brushes, clay and colour, becoming a shared workspace where ideas take shape. In the evenings, they move to the sofa, allowing the
energy of the day to settle as conversations deepen and friendships grow. Small Rituals that Create a Sense of Home Even in everyday life or while travelling, small rituals help anchor the feeling of home. Andrea always brings a room fragrance with her. Scent is deeply personal and powerful – spreading it instantly creates a sense of familiarity, wherever she is. Josefin lights candles every day, dimming the lighting as part of her routine. For her, living without candlelight is unthinkable. Simple habits like these create comfort, rhythm and a sense of belonging, regardless of place.

When Home Meets Art There is a special joy in seeing art become part of someone’s home. When a piece brings harmony, inspiration and happiness, a dialogue emerges between the creator and the person living with the work. The atmosphere of the home influences the art, and the art, in turn, shapes the home. In the meeting between Andrea Tsang’s ceramics and Josefin Tolstoy’s paintings, this dialogue becomes tangible. The home is not merely a backdrop, but an active part of the creative flow. For both Andrea and Josefin, the home is not only a place for rest – it is where art is formed, lived with, and given new life.
