Quality is Sustainability Frames
Our frames are built from kiln-dried hardwoods sourced from sustainably managed domestic forests. We use wood with no added formaldehyde and assemble each frame with water-based, low-VOC glues—delivering cleaner indoor air and a more responsible, sustainable product.

Hardware
We use CertiPUR-US® certified foams, made without harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, phthalates, or ozone depleters. They’re low in VOCs for healthier air and tested for emissions and durability. Many cushions use fiber from 100% recycled water bottles or circularly recycled wraps. Foam layers are bonded with waterbased glues—minimizing chemicals while maximizing comfort, durability, and environmental responsibility in every seat.
We build with intention, using springs made from recycled iron ore and nails that are uncoated and formed using a water-based lubricant. These thoughtful choices reduce waste, eliminate unnecessary chemicals, and reflect our commitment to more responsible, low-impact manufacturing—from the inside out.
Rowe is a founding member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, promoting responsible practices across the industry. Each year, we divert over 6 million pounds of waste— including scrap fiber, fabric, and cardboard—from landfills through dedicated recycling efforts.
