It’s been a while since the sun fell from the sky. The air cools squeezing out tears, it’s the nostalgic dew of winter nights. Longing for thirteen desserts and gifts under the pine during the ceaseless rain of the season. Moving souvenirs from the ocean memory atlantic, by the polar jetstream.

Atmosphere. Earth's revolution drags the trade winds, mopping the seas, darting through the gulf stream and swirling up the poles. It dries itself on the climb of the mountains, gushes upon the lands only to rinse and repeat. The sky is an elaborate being, so rich in diverse events, and loves to mingle with every limb of Gaia. Yet, in all heavens, the only weather one may see is, right now, above one's very head.

Much the same for a picture in the mind. The breeze sweeps seeds of the vast forests of stories and through the haze of essences of knowledge, an image is conceived and only it is to see. Could the breeze be from a troubling cyclone passing in the distance? The hither-stressing clouds darken and the winds of emotions blow louder, but never is the whole storm seen at once. What story is the photo album sharing, the traits of this collection? Words pouring out, a rocky ride across riddles to reveal the eye.

Far beyond the horizon, the weather goes on; the silly eddy of refusing an evening coffee, the tropical rain all along the equator of forgotten toddler memories. The summer storms on the plains of logic deposited through school. We could do a whole inner meteorological survey!

Thought movement vector field simulation, data collection on recurring seasonal Monsoons, study of geography underlying the atmosphere and the history of its formation,...

The sense-making model holds three parts to grasp this idea; the seemingly tangible exterior, the inner universe and knowledge of both.

Things are delimited from stuff by the model and understanding is constructed for each.

Characteristics of things are recognised as a pattern in the experience and a specific setup of these defines a word. Language permits to transmit details on the relation between distinctions and develop the patternrecognition.

A hostel for cars or a parking garage for people.

Analogies work through a pattern of characteristics, in their commonly associated systemic architecture. Here: a location of rest for temporary moving entities. But a myriad of ways exist to deconstruct a thing into its components and their relations; materials, energy usage, colours, floors, parking-type, financial impact…

The nature of each thing arising in the same phenomenal universe and lying in the same sense-making model, necessitates two arbitrary things to fundamentally be systematical analogies of another. Figuring out the match is a rewarding creative endeavour bringing out new perspectives on both subjects and doors for questions. What is a speedbump in a hostel? Maybe the kitchen of a parking garage is the 7-Eleven next door where the driver gets his daily dose of slushy, or the electric charger.

How silly it is to explain with words the usage of analogies to learn when its very purpose is to function below the verbal processing layer, during that very instant of seeing. In the intuition where the ideas are like crystal jewels in a fractal room reflecting another. And even sillier to speak through my own framework of interpretation, as each has their own. What drives the climate in your atmosphere? Observing the reactions of one’s body to the world? By the value of the interactions for one’s family? Fulfilling the survival need for food, sex and money? For friends, people and the plot of romance?

Here the hunger of curiosity will forever lie unfulfilled, cursed with the unfortunate limitation to never experience the inner world of another, other than the glimpses from what they create. Yet always remaining captive by one’s kaleidoscope and compass. So let the waves of space-time bring as much they can, the starving beast must be fed. But a balanced diet is critical to align the sense-making monster.

Consume only what is known and be adamant on tasting something new? Or not to sieve the seeds of ignorant weeds and let them grow in the fields?

This is the dangerous walk on the ridge between miraculous flying creatures and a rigid mechanical factory. Luckily, this mind-body complex has evolved to explore. A pinhole to peek through, wrenching your inside out back into itself to let you witness through it. In the realm of possibilities, for one’s own sake. Sometimes drenched by downpours and other times blissed by the sun. Making sense of it all. This journey to be.
