Celebrating Arbor Day

The City of San D t at Vacation Isle in Mission Bay Pa d Prudence worked so hard beautifying the park. They were able to “hob-nob” with the mayor and his staff.

Sorors Ann and Kathy attended the ‘Every Day is Earth Day’ event at the Malcolm X Library. We learned about climate change, recycling, and composting, and enjoyed a catered lunch.

Many Sorors took advantage of the shredding and e-waste recycling events held throughout the community.

Lastly, on two occasions, we helped out the Master Gardener at Johnson Elementary. Planting and weeding with budding student gardeners was very fun.
