Summer Reading Programs

In addition to the amazing Summer Reading Program the Round Rock Public Library has in store for us this summer, there is a treasure trove of local & national reading programs that are available here in Round Rock as well! So dive in my friends and get your kiddos reading this summer!

June 7 - August 2

Tails & Tales Summer Reading Program is a community reading challenge for all reading levels. Earn prizes with our mobile-friendly software–it’s easier than ever to register families together and to update several individual reading logs at the same time. July 1 - August 31

Kids in grades 1-6 earn a FREE book through the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program. Read any eight books and record them in the Summer Reading Journal, available at stores or download from www.barnesandnoble.com. When you’re done, bring it to a Barnes & Noble store and choose your free book!

June 7 - August 2

The Feed Your Brain Summer Reading Program is for kids 8th grade and under. Kids read for 15 minutes a day and record their time. Once they hit 300 minutes, they can turn in their completed reading log to the store to claim Bookworm Bucks. High Schoolers can read a book in June & July and submit a short review to earn Bookworm Bucks High School Reading Program starts June 1 and goes through July 31. Through October 1

The H-E-Buddy Summer Reading program, for children ages 3-12. Read 10 books, (1 book must be a Read 3 Book) throughout the summer. Log each book with a parent’s initial and mail in to get a prize package sent to you from HEB. Reading logs must be postmarked by October 1 to be valid. Through August 31

The Yogurt Experience Summer Reading Challenge is for kids and teens ages 5-18. Read 10 books throughout the summer and get a Free FroYo from The Yogurt Experience. Through December 31
