Mobilizing Diaspora Leadership unified ^

Diaspora Connected

Building bridges for collective action.

THE INDIAN DIASPORA IN AMERICA is one of the most impactful communities in the world. Indian Americans lead global technology companies, drive medical innovation, build thriving businesses, serve in public office, and contribute to the cultural and civic life of the United States. Despite these achievements, the community still lacks a platform to turn individual impact into a collective voice.

Without shared infrastructure, leadership remains fragmented and opportunities for coordinated impact are lost.

The Global India Collective mobilizes the Indian diaspora to strengthen civic leadership in the United States while supporting India’s global rise through coordinated engagement in policy, innovation, philanthropy, culture, and wellbeing.

When diaspora communities align their expertise with strategic coordination, they become a force for solving challenges that transcend borders.

How We Work

Building the infrastructure for global Indian leadership.

The Global India Collective is a platform for long-term systematic change, where ideas translate into impact, and impact into measurable outcomes. We operate through four interconnected strategies that transform fragmented efforts into coordinated action.

CONVENING LEADERS

We bring together diaspora leaders, policymakers, and global thinkers to drive collective action.

POLICY ENGAGEMENT

We draw on diaspora perspectives to inform policy and foster understanding without engaging in lobbying.

COLLABORATION AND ANALYSIS

We build strategic, forward-looking partnerships that elevate discourse on complex global issues.

PHILANTHROPY

We coordinate diaspora philanthropy around data-driven outcomes and long-term global impact.

Our Initiatives

Congressional Study Group on India From Community to Policy

THE CHALLENGE

The U.S.-India relationship is one of the most important strategic partnerships of the 21st century, yet sustained engagement among policymakers, diaspora leaders, and institutions remains limited.

OUR APPROACH

The Congressional Study Group on India creates structured opportunities for lawmakers to engage with experts, diaspora leaders, scholars, and business leaders on strategic challenges.

THE CHALLENGE

Policy discussions about critical issues affecting the U.S.-India relationship and emerging technologies often lack the rigorous research and academic insight needed for sound decision-making.

OUR APPROACH

The Roundglass India Center is our academic anchor, producing vital research on India’s economic, institutional, and cultural contributions. It supports informed policymaking and cultivates leadership through education and scholarship.

What Makes Us

Different

Community-Led, Not Individually Driven

We believe enduring influence comes from coordinated leadership. The Global India Collective transforms individual success into shared purpose.

Institutional, Not Episodic

We build platforms that connect policy, business, academia, and philanthropy, ensuring continuity beyond any single initiative or moment.

Long-Term, Not Transactional

Our work is anchored in a vision for 2047: creating leadership infrastructure that endures across political cycles and generations.

Evidence-Based, Not Anecdotal

We ground ambition in analysis, ensuring that every strategy, partnership, and investment is shaped by data, research, and expertise.

Looking Ahead

By India’s centennial in 2047, we will create a unified platform for Indian American civic leadership. We envision sustained U.S.-India collaboration in policy, innovation, and culture while mobilizing $1 billion in coordinated philanthropy.
