欣逢華盛頓高中台中中央扶輪少年服務團授證7周年 紀念慶典,我謹代表國際扶輪Gordon社長向貴團,致上 最誠摯的祝福與敬意. 華盛頓扶少團創立7年來,在歷任團長卓越領導及全體 團員同心協力下,學習扶輪的領導與服務精神,積極參 與服務,培養團隊合作默契,提升團員的情感,積累待 人處事的經驗,提早吸收與社會接軌的能力,拓展國際 視野,準備成為一位稱職且有影響力的國際公民. 今年在張緁倪 團長,秘書及幹部帶領下,遵循台中中 央社及華盛頓高中的指導,實現扶輪以服務,聯誼及領 導為主軸的活動,學校又注重學生的國際化教育,恰巧 吻合國際扶輪以全球化為出發點的思維,在短短兩年 多的時間內,培養各位團員課業以外的能力,使將來踏 入社會具備更多元的經驗. 今年扶輪口號是 ＂為世界創造希望＂,國際扶輪3461 地區希望有你的參與,結合全球的扶輪力量,共同為每 一個社區貢獻一己之力,希望達成沒有飢餓,沒有戰 亂,大家安居樂業,世界和平之遠大目標.

依舊要先感謝台中中央扶輪社長期以來的經驗 分享與協助指導「華中扶少團」，因有著完善又豐富 的服務資源，每年活動安排的準備都是團員們學習及 成長的過程，希望藉由這些經驗，他們能從中體認到 無私奉獻和不求回報的價值，以及合作溝通與助人為 樂的美德。團員們都竭盡所能地參與各項活動，透過 一系列服務活動來展現自己的優勢，拓展個人的格局 ，宏觀自己的視野，也深信經歷過扶少團的洗禮，每 位團員在未來都能各展所長，秉持服務的精神，持續 對社會做出貢獻。我期許「華中扶少團」的每一位成 員都能有 Ultreia et Suseia 「堅持到底，超越極限」 的精神， Keep on creating hope in the world !

華盛頓國際學校扶少團多年來參與社區服務，學生們在服務學 習活動中，展現了社區關懷與領導技能，透過募捐發票、環保 行動、關懷長者等活動，學生們培養了團隊合作，溝通技能， 專案執行能力，更重要的是對不同族群有了深刻的理解，進而 對社區產生了正向的影響力，我期待本屆扶少團能傳承服務， 領導，親善的精神，也感謝謝台中中央扶輪社對華盛頓中學扶 少團的指導，讓學生能實踐服務，益於社會。 The Washington International School’s Interact Club has been actively engaged incommunity service for many years.

During service-learning activities, students have demonstrated a strong sense of community care and leadership skills. Through activities such as fundraising campaigns, environmental initiatives, and caring for the elderly, students have developed teamwork, communication skills, project management abilities, and, most importantly, a profound understanding of different communities.

This understanding has allowed them to have a positive impact on the community. I look forward to this year’s Interact Club continuing to uphold the spirit of service, leadership, and goodwill. I would also like to express my gratitude to the Taichung Central Rotary Club for their guidance and support, enabling our students to actively engage in meaningful service for the betterment of society.

Through community service and cultural exchange, our Interact Club students have broadened their horizons and embraced openness and inclusivity. They do not focus solely on themselves, but instead recognize others' needs and take action. These experiences help them learn about the world and learn about themselves. We are also grateful for the care and support of the Taichung Central Rotary Club, helping the students in the WIST Interact Club to learn, grow, and excel!

As the advisor of the WIST Interact Club, I have been working enthusiastically with my students. We designed and partook in diverse and meaningful activities and projects where the students practiced the spirit of volunteering. A cheerful smile and beads of sweat of the students showed they learned gratitude and gained true contentment from these community services. Moreover,the students have also developed confidence and self-fulfillment which are necessary and crucial for their personal and professional growth in the future. I always remind the membersof the WIST Interact Club, like the wheel of The Rotary, the action of “service above self ”should be nonstop.

As believed, a small change and action can make a tremendous difference, making this world a more delightful place to live.

Last but not least, nothing would be possible, without the consistent support and substantial assistance of the WIST as well as The Taichung Central Rotary Club. As the advisor, I greatly appreciated their kindness and generosity.

As the advisor of the Interact Club, I've seen these kids thrive with enthusiasm, expanding their influence and leadership through various activities. Their community service projects reflect a sense of social responsibility and contribute to society. They also embrace global events, respecting and sharing diverse cultures, broadening their international perspectives.

Now and in the future, we will collectively fulfill the Interact Club's mission through diverse service initiatives. Every student will thrive, becoming future leaders, driven by unwavering faith, capable of catalyzing change.

Lastly, heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Club of Taichung Central for their unwavering support. Thank you for your trust, making us a part of this exceptional club. We will embrace this beautiful and adventurous journey together, explore the unknown, create wonderful memories, and believe that together, we can go further and achieve more.

感到很開心且榮幸能夠擔任華盛頓扶少團第七屆的團長。再加 入扶少之前，我本以為扶少只是一個單存做公益的社團，當時 對扶少沒有任何想法和認識的我懵懵懂懂的選擇加入扶少，在 之後真正認識和了解到扶少後，很多事情都顛覆了我之前的想 像並開闊了我對國際的視野，從一個沒有抱有太多期望和期待 的心情加入扶少，到現在已經在扶少即將邁入兩年了，從不清 楚到熱愛，從團員到幹部再到團長，在扶少的一路上，我真的 學習到了很多且成長了很多，不只是公益上的實行，還有與人 之間的交流，更是領導能力的成長，扶少真的讓我成為一個更 閃耀的人。扶少已經成為我人生中必不可少的一部分了，扶少 彷彿一個大家庭，充滿歡樂，使我的人生變得更充實。在接下 來的這一年中，是一個全新的開始和挑戰，今年的身分跟以往 不一樣，是一個需要更有擔當和能力的角色，我會盡我所有且 依然繼續保持著熱愛扶少的精神來帶領華中第七屆扶少團，我 期待與華中扶少的每一份子一起創作一個精彩無比的一年，並 且我相信當團長的這一年將成為我人生中不可或缺的一段重要 回憶，我會和華中扶少的每一份子一起努力向上、一起推廣扶 輪精神，讓不只華中，更是全世界都認識到扶輪精神。很感謝 華中扶少能給我一個擔任團長的機會，我很高興可以帶領第七 屆華中扶少團，未來，我將帶領第七屆的團員們一同為扶少、 世界盡一份心力，將會努力不懈地帶著團員們一起「為世界創 造希望」！

副團長 王芷喬 Yumi Wang 很高興能夠再次加入 扶少團並且擔任華中 扶少第七屆的副團長！ 我覺得副團長需要具 備很多的領導能力與 特質，並且和團長代 表整個扶少團，這對 我來說是一種全新的 挑戰。經過這幾個禮拜的社課活動後，在Jenny 團長和我以及各個幹部們共同的合作下，讓新加 入的團員們有了對扶少這個大家庭的認識與了解 。雖然只有每個禮拜短短的見一次面，不過從剛 開始還有點陌生的破冰活動，再到一起練習授證 典禮的表演，我很深刻的感受到了我們華中扶少 漸漸活躍起來的氣氛，我相信我們以後會成長的 更多，一起創造第七屆共同的成就與回憶！也希 望在往後的活動中，還請 Uncle 和 Auntie 們為 我們指點迷津，並繼續支持華盛頓國際部扶少團！ ³ 17

今年是我參加扶少團的第2年，也很榮幸今年能當上這 一屆的公關，成為幹部之後體驗到了很多不同的事情 也體驗了不同活動，比如說透過了領導人訓練營學習 到了很多不同的知識，也收穫了很多不同的經驗，透 過扶少團，我學到了領導能力和表達能力的重要性， 如何表達自己來帶領著團員們一起做活動，和舉辦活 動，同時我學到了社交能力的重要，自己要先踏出第 一步才能拓展自己的人際關系，希望以後我能做好我 的職位也能比較外向。

I am honored to join the Interact club. I believe that I can learn a lot in this club, such as designing and learning activities and how to become a good leader. Of course, I also want to get to know more students from other schools. This is why I chose this club. The reason for choosing this position is that I hope I can learn from them the qualities that I don’t have. After reading a lot of online news, I found that there are still many people in the world who need help.

However, as a high school student, my ability is limited, so I hope that through serving the interactive club and helping the society together, I can become an even better person. I believe that through the teacher’s advice and guidance, I will be able to accomplish more and give back to society.

秘書 李瑞庭 Edison Lee When I first got into the Washington Interact Club, I was not a big fan of it at all.

However, right now it is like a dream job to me. My dream job is to work with politicians and to uplift them. Well in this Interact club, it's like the development, activeness, and the service to the community at the same time. I feel proud of seeing these developments each year being an Interact club leader. Even though I didn't become a leader, I still understood more about myself and what really fit me. Thanks to the 6th leader who picked me to become a secretary, I found out leadership is not for me, but helping and working for others is the right choice. This position also develops my future idea of working with politicians. Towards these years, I've decided to exchange my free time for the Interact club, learning teamwork, leadership, work, and activities. I am willing to do this for my future and the friendship between the Interact club and me.

服務計畫 林恩緯 Zachary Lin When I first heard about the Interact club, I honestly had no clue what its purpose, goals, and ideals were. In other words, I knew nothing about it. I used to believe that all the club did was just do volunteer work and have small meetings. But I soon realized I was completely wrong after joining. There are cross campus activities, volunteer projects, and even talent shows. Everyone is so energetic, proficient, and hard-working, after just completing the first meeting and club. I felt like doing work while having fun at the same time. I’ve always been the type of person who puts others in front of myself, trying to help each and every person possible. That’s why I chose to join this club in the first place. I also want to explore my talents and to shine on stage by expressing my uniqueness. My hope for joining this club is to learn more about how to interact with strangers, learn to do public speaking, and be able to participate in several activities. I’m glad that I was chosen to be a part of this group. I’m thrilled to see what awaits us in the future. All the activities and plans will surely be fascinating. Wish us all the best!

能參加華盛頓扶少團是一件開心且充滿榮譽感的事情，在 參加扶少團的過程中，我和其他的幹部及團員們都很熱心 地去參加各式各樣的活動，像是社區服務、幹部聯誼還有 幹部訓練等等，除此之外，在參加扶少團當中我還學到了 非常多的事情，在扶少團中，幹部就像領導人一樣，每一 個幹部都有不同的職責要做，也要帶領著團員們去做活動 ，然而在當幹部的過程當中，我吸取到了不少的經驗，像 是上台發表的能力以及社交的技巧，希望扶少團能夠越來 越棒，也希望有越來越多的人來參加。

一開始想參加扶少團，想說可以來做 做志工，順便將我的志工時數做完， 這樣就不用利用我寒暑假的時間，但 進來後才發現，一切都跟我想的不太 一樣，這裡有許多不同的活動，而且 每次社團課都會有例會。我在這個社 團參加的第一個活動就是社區服務， 我們去到了校車場旁的馬路進行撿垃 圾的服務，即便有點熱，但仍覺得很

參加扶少團我希望以後可以讓環境 變得更美好，像是隨手撿垃圾等等 的，這次的活動經驗中我發現，路 上看起來很乾淨但其實有許多垃圾 隱藏在雜草中，我們不應該在路上 亂丟垃圾，要丟到垃圾桶中也要記 得分類好，不然會造成許多環境上 的麻煩，我也希望藉由這次參加扶 少團的機會能服務到更多人。

At first, I thought the interact club was a traditional scout group because I was in the girl scout, and they sang songs and did all those ceremonies as well, which is why I wasn't sure if I should join. Later on, I realized how warm, helping, and welcoming this club is. Not only does participating in this club look good on my college transcript, but I think it’s also something a person can feel proud of. The community services, for example, are already enough to feel proud of, being able to help the minority. I hope that more people can discover how good this club is.

在2023年8月31日，幹部交接儀式代表著 第七屆扶少團的開始。學長姐們將旗幟 交給我們的同時，祝福我們在未來一切 順利。 On August 31st, 2023, a handover ceremony marked the beginning of the 7th Interact Club. The seniors wished the juniors well on their new journey as they handed the banners to them.

社區服務 在2023年9月14日，我們決定 幫助附近的社區做一件好事。 我們在學校周圍和沿著馬路清 理了垃圾，同時也提高了大家 對環保的意識。

On September 14th, 2023, we decided to do a favor to help our community. We cleaned up trash as we went around the school and along the roads, also raising everyone's awareness about environmental protection.

On September 16th, 2023, we attended the Rotary Club Youth Leadership Training Seminar.The training is going to broaden our perspective of the world and assist us in becoming future Interact Club leaders.
