On 20th January, we attended a webinar on emotional intelligence for conflict resolution. This session was organized by the Rotaract Club of Koramangala and the speaker was Dr. Smita Kavatekar. It was all about finding the resolution for conflicts arising in our lives and how we need to address them emotionally. We believe that this topic is a little different and necessary for all the people in the modern world as we deal with many new technologies and problems. So, we RCB members participated in the session and gained knowledge on this topic. It was an informative session.

Mic Drop- Episode 9

On 26th January, we hosted DRR Rtn. Rtr. Ahamed Hussain (RI Dist. 3220, Sri Lanka) on Mic Drop. The interviewer was our President, Rtr. Saravanan. We started off with a small introduction, then DRR Rtn. Rtr. Ahamed Hussain went on to give a gist about his time as DRR. When asked about his take on the retention of individuality in Rotaract, he went on to explain how it was important to think and decide on the right thing to do without being influenced by all factors around us. When elucidating work-life balance, he did highlight the importance of prioritizing and planning his day down to a tea using a calendar. After a round of rapid-fire, he did go on to talk about how his dream project was being able to help rural communities share the yields among themselves and shift to the use of biodegradable gases. Mic Drop- Episode 10

On 31st January, we hosted DRR Rtr. Prathyusha Varma (RI Dist. 3020, Andhra Pradesh). The interviewer, Rtr. Chaula introduced DRR Rtr. Prathyusha, and began the interview by talking about her journey in Rotaract and as the DRR, and how she manages all aspects of her life. Breaking away from heavy conversations, she added a light-hearted story from her childhood when she used to sing. She then circled back to talking about her business venture Craftistland and how she executed the idea during the lockdown. The interview then flowed into the rapid-fire round after which she also spoke about her dream international avenue project to get together youth around the world to exchange their thoughts and ideas. The interview concluded with a message from Prathyusha and her mic drop moment.
