The curriculum consists of; how to recognize a distressed swimmer, how to rescue a distressed swimmer, how to preform CPR using an AED and Basic First Aid. They will learn to work as a team and how to aid in an emergency. The last day of the camp, they will shadow a Certified Lifeguard during a day shift. If the participants pass an ARC CPR w/AED and First Aid skills and written test, they will receive a certification for those skills.

Learn about the history of the ukulele, how to tune, and the fundamentals of playing using ukulele tablature with ukulele enthusiast Erica Entrop. By the end of the 4 sessions, students will be able to play simple songs and have the tools to learn more.

During this 4-week course, taught by our new instructor Cindy Rhodes, explore the richness of wax-based colored pencils as you practice shading and layering on both black and white paper. A focus on matching values and tones will add extra depth to your art as it seems to leap off the page!

The world’s oldest living cowboy tells, in story and song, of his years as a cowboy and his friendship with Billy the Kid. Stories of Billy are generally exaggerated. Ralph Estes’s program addresses the legend-making process while presenting the historically accurate story of Billy.
