DANCE INTO SUMMER

ALIEN CHASE 5K/10K RUN/WALK

Have you ever seen an alien? This may be your chance. Run or walk this course and let us know if you spot a UFO. We believe, but do you? Alien-themed costumes are encouraged! The first 350 participants will receive a race day T-shirt and medal. Runners have the option to run the 5K or the 10K this year!
Online Registration opens May 1st and will end July 3rd at midnight.
Packet pickup will be June 30th-July 3rd, 8am-5pm at the Recreation and Aquatic Center at 1402 W. College Blvd.
Race-day registration is July 5, 6:307:30am. Cash & checks only. No refunds.
Outdoor pool expected to open May 24th.

ADULT PROGRAMMING

ACTIVE ADULTS
Mon/Wed/Fri 1-2pm
Great for seniors and adults of all ages. Small-group personal training consisting of a dynamic warm-up, aerobic exercise, resistance training, and a static cooldown. Helps with your cardio strength, endurance, flexibility and balance.
AEROBICS
Mon-Thurs 5-6pm
Join us for an exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic movement with stretching and strength training.
STRETCHING
Mon/Wed/Fri 10-10:30am
Loosen those muscles and joints from head to toe with some relaxing guided stretches. Pairs well with Senior Workout!
VIDEO WALKING
Mon/Wed/Fri 9-10am
Get your friends for this low-intensity virtual workout, led by technology of today.
OUT-OF-THE-WEATHER WALKING TIME
Tues/Thurs 8-10am
Stay active in a comfortable, climatecontrolled space with our self-led out-ofthe-weather walking sessions!
Enjoy a relaxed, go-at-your-own-pace walk with energizing music to keep you moving. Maintain mobility, or simply enjoy a stressfree walk indoors.

SENIOR WORKOUT

A workout that is good for different levels of mobility. All movements can be easily adjusted to fit a variety of needs.
YOGA

Yoga enthusiasts of all levels are welcome. Learn some of the most common poses that are physically challenging, but at a slower pace for beginners.

The Roswell Adult Center, currently located at the Roswell Recreation & Aquatic Center, is looking for fitness instructors to teach and instruct classes. If you have a knack for exercise routines and are great at leading others, call the Recreation Center today for more information about becoming an instructor. Call 575-624-6719.

We’re excited to bring back our summer camps! Our all-day camps are designed for fun, adventure and teamwork. Each week, campers will participate in a variety of activities, including sports games, crafts, competitions and team-building exercises. Spots are limited—each week is capped at 30 campers, so be sure to register early!
Swimming days are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, giving campers a chance to cool off and enjoy the water.
Camps are offered week by week, allowing families flexibility in scheduling.
Schedule:
Camp runs from 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday
Earliest drop-off: 7:30am Latest pick-up: 5:30pm
Parents/guardians are required to sign their child in and out each day.
Meals & Snacks:
Lunch is provided, but campers are welcome to bring a packed lunch if preferred.
Afternoon snacks will be available for purchase at the concession stand.
Cost:
$55 per child, per week.
Sibling bundle (2 children): $100 per week. Trio bundle: $150 per week.
Registration is required for each week, with payment due upon enrollment. No refunds.
YOUTH VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE

Bump and set in this fun-filled Youth Volleyball League! Our sports leagues are designed to teach the fundamentals.
This is a great way to get exercise while learning balance, hand-eye coordination, strategy and social skills all while having fun. This league, every player is a winner! Takes place at the Recreation & Aquatic Center.
COACHES: You must fill out a volunteer form and be approved if you want to coach.
Note: Age of registration will be based on age as of August 1st, 2025.
HOMESCHOOL PE
May 6-22, August 12-28

Get up, get out and get moving with our Homeschool PE program! This three-week class helps homeschool children socialize and interact with others while engaging in movement activities. 575 624-6719

ROSWELL MUSEUM

Learn about the impact of the flood on the Roswell Museum and current recovery efforts during a free public presentation and “mix and mingle.”
Modeled after the annual Members Open House, staff will be on hand after the presentation to answer questions, provide educational demonstrations of conservation techniques and talk about opportunities to aid with the recovery. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.
