ALIEN CHASE 5K/10K RUN/WALK Saturday, July 5

7-12pm

$35 | Cielo Grande Have you ever seen an alien? This may be your chance. Run or walk this course and let us know if you spot a UFO. We believe, but do you? Alien-themed costumes are encouraged! The first 350 participants will receive a race day T-shirt and medal.

Runners have the option to run the 5K or the 10K this year!

Online Registration opens May 1st and will end July 3rd at midnight.

Packet pickup will be June 30th-July 3rd, 8am-5pm at the Recreation and Aquatic Center at 1402 W. College Blvd.

Outdoor pool expected to open May 24th.

Race-day registration is July 5, 6:307:30am. Cash & checks only.

Opening date is pending inspections and may be delayed. Call the Recreation & Aquatic Center for updates.

Great for seniors and adults of all ages.

Small-group personal training consisting of a dynamic warm-up, aerobic exercise, resistance training, and a static cooldown.

Helps with your cardio strength, endurance, flexibility and balance.

Join us for an exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic movement with stretching and strength training.

Stay active in a comfortable, climatecontrolled space with our self-led out-ofthe-weather walking sessions!

LOOKING FOR FITNESS INSTRUCTORS Class times vary Monday through Friday The Roswell Adult Center, currently located at the Roswell Recreation & Aquatic Center, is looking for fitness instructors to teach and instruct classes. If you have a knack for exercise routines and are great at leading others, call the Recreation Center today for more information about becoming an instructor. Call 575-624-6719.

We’re excited to bring back our summer camps! Our all-day camps are designed for fun, adventure and teamwork. Each week, campers will participate in a variety of activities, including sports games, crafts, competitions and team-building exercises.

Ages 9-10 Ages 11-12 $45/child (co-ed) Bump and set in this fun-filled Youth Volleyball League! Our sports leagues are designed to teach the fundamentals.

Spots are limited—each week is capped at 30 campers, so be sure to register early!

Swimming days are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, giving campers a chance to cool off and enjoy the water.

This is a great way to get exercise while learning balance, hand-eye coordination, strategy and social skills all while having fun. This league, every player is a winner!

Takes place at the Recreation & Aquatic Center.

Camps are offered week by week, allowing families flexibility in scheduling.

Schedule: Camp runs from 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday Earliest drop-off: 7:30am Latest pick-up: 5:30pm

COACHES: You must fill out a volunteer form and be approved if you want to coach.

Note: Age of registration will be based on age as of August 1st, 2025.

Parents/guardians are required to sign their child in and out each day.

HOMESCHOOL PE

Meals & Snacks: Lunch is provided, but campers are welcome to bring a packed lunch if preferred.

Afternoon snacks will be available for purchase at the concession stand.

Grades K-8 | $6/class/child

Cost: $55 per child, per week.

Sibling bundle (2 children): $100 per week.

Trio bundle: $150 per week.

Get up, get out and get moving with our Homeschool PE program! This three-week class helps homeschool children socialize and interact with others while engaging in movement activities. 575 624-6719

JOIN US FOR MUSEUM MIX & MINGLE Saturday, May 31 6-8:30pm FREE and open to the public The Liberty, 312 N. Virginia Ave. Learn about the impact of the flood on the Roswell Museum and current recovery efforts during a free public presentation and “mix and mingle.”

Modeled after the annual Members Open House, staff will be on hand after the presentation to answer questions, provide educational demonstrations of conservation techniques and talk about opportunities to aid with the recovery.

Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.

The event is sponsored in part by The Liberty with additional support by the RMAC Foundation.

The Liberty, 312 N. Virginia The Roswell Museum and Art Center Foundation presents Flamenco Fiesta in benefit of the Roswell Museum’s flood recovery efforts.

MUSEUM POP-UPS! Visit Roswell Museum staff during Museum Pop-Ups at local events this summer and fall and get creative with art activities and learn the latest on recovery efforts. Locations will include Roswell Farmers Market, the National Championship Air Races, and more!

JUNE 14 - ROCKETSHIP IMPRESSIONS Create a textured collagraph rocket printing plate to make crayon rubbings and colorful marker prints.

JULY 12 - TINY TOTEM TOWERS Build your own stacked sculptures using air dry clay, a wooden skewer, beads and recyclables.

AUGUST 9 - RECONSTRUCTED WINDMILLS Draw inspiration from Peter Hurd’s windmills to create vibrant constructions with oil pastel backgrounds.

Second Saturdays are at the Roswell Public Library during the Museum’s flood recovery.
