PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS

Whether you are seeking lessons for a beginner swimmer, or looking for stroke refinement, private swim lessons are designed to meet your needs and personal goals. During the first private swim lesson, a swim instructor will do an assessment and discuss the best possible direction for each individual’s private swim lesson experience to be successful and enjoyable.
Private Swim Lessons are scheduled during regular shifts with a limited number of certified instructors. Lessons consist of six 45-minute one-on-one sessions. Please contact us for availability. 575-624-6719

Our 8-week classes are offered quarterly for adults for the exploration of the clay medium. The clay studio is wellequipped for both hand-building and wheel-throwing. This session, intermediate to advanced students will learn a multifiring and overglazing crackling technique developed by artist Andy Nasisse. All sessions include additional open studio time. Clay and tools are available for purchase. *First-time students are required to take the Monday night, Foundations in Clay class and are provided with a series of hand-building projects to develop confidence in the medium.

This 8-week class is an introduction to mold making for casting a variety of materials. We will focus on learning how to make both rubber and plaster molds. Various measuring and mixing techniques, planning, and preparation for molding and casting will be addressed.
Students will make a multiple-part plaster mold for slip casting or press molding as well as a multiple-part rubber mold for casting other materials, such as concrete, wax, plastic, etc. Supply list available at registration.
