Our Sixth Form ethos is simple: we want every student to become a ‘better human being’, because of the opportunities they took whilst studying here at Rossall. This is an ethos that is lived by every single member of our cohort, year after year. Our Sixth Formers are role models by default they sit at the top of a school that begins at three months, and they represent every value that our community holds dear. Elite sporting provision, thriving charity committees, student-led societies, humanitarian trips, around-the-clock academic support, and a diverse co-curricular programme helps with all of this, but it is the individual decisions our Sixth Former makes that helps them to flourish. It is knowing that failure comes from being brave and that it is often the first step to success. Our Sixth Formers step out of their comfort zone every day to become a ‘better human being’. Because of it, each person leaves with fantastic academic outcomes and, more importantly, they move into the world as ambitious, self-confident, globally aware, empathetic, kind, talented, brave and resilient young people.
