PRE-PREP SCHOOL Rossall Pre-Prep, taking children from Reception to Year 2, is built on a rich curriculum combining deep foundations in core English, Mathematics and Science with broad Humanities, Creative Arts and Languages, giving every child a genuinely well-rounded education.

Drama and dance are built directly into the weekly curriculum, with specialist instruction developing self-expression, poise, public speaking and movement from an early age. These skills are then put into practice through School productions, showcases and concerts, giving children a real stage to apply what they’ve learned. Sport is led by dedicated PE staff from Reception upwards, guiding games and swimming across Rossall’s 160acre campus, Sports Centre, and 25-metre indoor pool, instilling sportsmanship, fitness and teamwork from day one. Enrichment goes well beyond the core curriculum. Through Rossall Rotation, children take part in hands-on sessions that might see them exploring the night sky in our on-site Planetarium with the resident astronomer, or baking in the kitchen. Curriculum-linked trips and guest authors bring learning and stories to life, while visits from the emergency services build an early understanding of community, safety and citizenship. It is an education that treats the earliest years as a genuine foundation for everything Rossall offers.
