Tommy Fleetwood Academy and Rossall School have partnered to create one of the most ambitious programmes of coaching for golfers of all abilities. The programme is rooted in the values of one of the game’s greatest players, and delivered within a school that has built its reputation on the belief that academic excellence and elite sport can coexist. Rossall’s 160-acre beachside campus sits at the heart of England’s Golf Coast, offering a setting that actively supports the development of ambitious young golfers. Since 2016, Rossall Golf has grown into one of the most respected independent school golf programmes in the UK, attracting talented young players from across the world who are serious about their game and their future. This partnership is the next step in that story. No two players develop in the same way, and we never coach as though they do. Our approach is built around the individual, developing every player technically, physically and mentally. We believe the qualities that make a great golfer are often the very same qualities that make a great person. As Tommy Fleetwood often says, golf is one of life’s greatest disciplines, teaching lessons that extend far beyond the course and stay with you for life. Tommy Fleetwood’s journey is one of talent, dedication and a deep commitment to giving back to the game that shaped him. Growing up in Southport, Tommy learned the game at Formby Hall under the guidance of his childhood coach, Norman Marshall, whose influence helped lay the foundations for the world-class player he would become. In 2019, Tommy realised a lifelong ambition by opening the first Tommy Fleetwood Academy at Formby Hall, placing it under the leadership of the coach who first inspired him. That commitment to giving back now takes its next step at Rossall School, where Tommy Fleetwood is opening his first Tommy Fleetwood Academy in partnership with a school. Few people understand every stage of a young golfer’s development as intimately as Tommy, from taking his first swings as a child to competing at the very highest level of the game. That philosophy is at the heart of the Tommy Fleetwood Academy at Rossall School. Whatever your starting point, and wherever you want the game to take you, Tommy Fleetwood Academy and Rossall Golf are here to help you develop your skills, realise your potential and discover just how far your journey can go.
