NEED OF HEALING GARDENS IN HOSPITALS

Healing gardens in hospitals have various positive impacts, including reducing stress, anxiety, and pain levels among patients. They provide a tranquil environment that promotes relaxation and emotional well-being, which can aid in the healing process. Additionally, these gardens offer a space for reflection and connection with nature, which can improve overall patient satisfaction and recovery outcomes.

COMPONENTS OF HEALING GARDEN

MATERNITY & CHILDCARE GARDEN

Landscaping in hospitals for maternity and childcare positively impacts patients and families by creating tranquil environments for relaxation and bonding, promoting physical activity, offering educational opportunities, and enhancing overall hospital experience through aesthetic appeal and connection with nature.

SENSORY GARDEN FOR ENT & DISABILITY

PATIENTS

Sensory gardens in hospital landscaping offer a therapeutic oasis for patients, providing a multi-sensory experience that promotes relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional well-being. These gardens engage sight, smell, touch, and sometimes even sound, offering a respite from the clinical environment. Patients, families, and staff can benefit from the calming effects of nature, which can help alleviate anxiety, enhance mood, and improve overall satisfaction with the hospital environment. The presence of sensory gardens underscores the hospital’s commitment to holistic care, recognizing the importance of nurturing both physical and emotional health in the healing process.

PROJECT- RESORT DESIGN

LOCATION - KAKOLAT FALLS, BIHAR

“Architecture is really about well-being. I think that people want to feel good in a space.” - Zaha Hadid

Nestled within the contours of the land, The resort embodies a seamless integration of luxury and nature’s grandeur. At its core lies a majestic waterfall, its cascading waters serving as a focal point for all. Our commitment to sustainability is woven into the very fabric of our design, with careful contour analysis preserving the integrity of the landforms. Adjacent to the waterfall, a thoughtfully crafted public space invites guests to gather and marvel at the spectacle while fostering a deep connection to the environment.

CONTOUR ANALYSIS

Contour analysis is a fundamental process in architecture, crucial for understanding the topography of a site and informing design decisions.

By utilizing advanced techniques such as watershed analysis, we can identify drainage patterns and delineate catchment areas , guiding the placement of buildings and infrastructure to minimize flooding risks . Hillshade analysis provides insights into the terrain’s elevation variations, aiding in optimizing solar exposure and shading strategies for sustainable design. Stream analysis helps locate water bodies and assess their ecological significance, informing landscape design interventions to protect and enhance natural habitats. Slope analysis identifies areas prone to erosion and landslide hazards, enabling us to design appropriate site stabilization measures and maintain long-term structural integrity. Through the integration of these analyses, it helps us to create harmonious designs that respond sensitively to the site’s unique landscape while promoting environmental resilience and sustainability.

SUITE’S SUIT

Drawing inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic architecture philosophy, our resort suite reimagines the essence of Fallingwater for a luxurious retreat experience. Embracing the natural landscape, the suite’s entry on the first floor leads guests into a serene oasis where indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly converge. A private swimming pool , nestled within the lush surroundings, offers a tranquil escape, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the soothing waters while being enveloped by the sights and sounds of nature. Continuing the organic design approach, the open bath area integrates harmoniously with the outdoor environment, allowing guests to indulge in a rejuvenating soak amidst the beauty of the surrounding scenery. Through the synthesis of innovative design and immersive natural elements, our resort suite embodies the spirit of Fallingwater, providing a sanctuary where guests can reconnect with both themselves and the world around them.

“True work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection” – Michelangelo I create because it’s an inherent part of who I am, an expression of my innermost thoughts, emotions, and experiences. For me, art is not just a hobby or a profession; it’s a way of life, a way of communicating with the my innerself. Through my art, i seek to capture the beauty, the complexity, and the essence of human existence. I have always had a relentless desire to explore the depths of my imagination and the vastness of the meanings of each and every life around me..
