Client profile

The owners of this clothing store are a pair of sisters from China, who has lived in Vancouver for five years. The restaurant 6TYYYYYYYYYYYYis located on bustling Robson street, and this place is visited by many tourists and locals daily. In addition to having another cocktail bar in the retail store, the client wanted a space that highlighted the brand identity. It is important that the two areas stand out from one another and blend well together.

Design concept

This project was inspired by the company’s founder’s profile, which is artistic and minimal. The project expresses the brand’s aesthetic, is simple and practical, and will be displayed throughout the store. The space is characterized by black and white in color. Throughout the design process, this concept is carried out and can be seen in the space planning, the material and texture selections, the furniture choices, the color selections. This color scheme embodies the simplicity and directness of young people, as well as a casual and natural atmosphere.
