About The Play Welcome to She Kills Monsters, a play that invites us into a world of daring quests, fearsome creatures, and heroic battles—but its greatest challenges are deeply human. Through Agnes’ journey into the imaginative world created by her younger sister, Tilly, playwright Qui Nguyen explores grief, identity, acceptance, and the complicated ways we come to understand the people we love. The play celebrates those who have ever felt like outsiders and the communities that give them a place to belong. Beneath its sword fights, monsters, and sharp comedy is a heartfelt reminder that imagination can help us confront loss, discover courage, and connect with one another in unexpected ways. At its heart, She Kills Monsters asks us to look beyond our assumptions. Agnes discovers that truly knowing someone requires curiosity, compassion, and the courage to enter a world that may initially feel unfamiliar. In doing so, she learns that the people we think we know often contain entire stories we have never taken the time to see. We are proud of the creativity, dedication, and fearless spirit our students have brought to this production. Thank you for joining us on this adventure. TRINITY BATTLE (Evil Tina, Succubi) is excited to be back for this show here at Rose State, after playing Villain/Marci in Almost, Maine. She has enjoyed all the time she’s had with these wonderful people and hopes to continue working with them in the future. She’d like to thank her family and friends for their undying love and encouragement. She would especially like to thank her grandfather for always being so supportive throughout everything and plans to make him proud once again with yet another amazing performance. CAMPBELL BENEFIELD (Tilly) is a first-year student and incredibly excited to be making her debut on the Rose State stage!! Some of her past acting credits include Martha Westenra (Dracula), Worker (Hadestown), Ancestor (The Addams Family), and Warden (Dead Man Walking), as well as many other roles with Choctaw High School and KidsAlive. She graduated from Choctaw High School and is now majoring in business at Rose. She would like to thank her friends, family, and all her wonderful castmates for supporting her and making this new experience so fun. She would also like to thank Chris for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing show. Love you all!! HAYDEN BENTLEY (Steve/Demon) is very happy to be in this show. He was previously in A Christmas Carol (Topper, Fezziwig Guest, Undertakers
Boy, and Horseboy), It Runs In The Family (Dr. Connolly), Peter and the Starcatcher (Hawking Clam), Alice in Wonderland (Tweedle Dum and King of Hearts), Almost, Maine (Phil), Big Fish (Over Excited Scout, Ensemble, Featured Dancer), Romeo and Juliet (Balthasar, Tybalt US). He graduated from Macarthur High School in Lawton, Oklahoma and now attends Rose State College majoring in Film Studies and Digital Media. He would like to thank his family for being so supportive and his friends for being absolutely amazing and making this his favorite play so far. RIELEY FERRER (Chuck) is a firstyear student at Rose State College and is excited to make their musical theatre debut. (Giovani Marino, Cannibal Lester), Alice in Wonderland (Mad Hatter), Almost, Maine (Randy) Television: It’s a Wonderful Life, the Radio Play on PBS-KMOS (Martini, Dr. Campbell, Ed, etc.) They would like to thank their past theatre educators Mistie Walser and Victoria Kiker for introducing them to theatre and inspiring them to pursue it. NATE HOUGH (Miles/Demon) is a Theatre major and is very excited to be a part of such an amazing theatre department. Some of his roles in past shows include Rev. Parris from

the Crucible, The Wiz/Gatekeeper/ Ensemble for The Wiz, Knightley in Emma, and Zazu in The Lion King. Nate graduated from Midwest City High School and has come to Rose to chase his dream of becoming a famous actor. Nate wants to thank his friend, family, and his amazing girlfriend for always supporting him and for helping him chase his passion. He would also like to thank his fellow castmates for being so supportive and inviting. CHRIS JONES (Director) is a Theatre major here at Rose, and has previously performed and crewed for many shows held in these sacred halls. He has an abundance of experience with many creative avenues such as story crafting, art, vocal work, and largely content creation. Being able to direct a show like She Kills Monsters is an honor. My time working on this show has been truly remarkable, and a highlight of my time here at Rose. I want to say thank you to everyone who has ever supported me, as it truly means the world. But more especially thank you to this incredible cast for having me as your director. I couldn’t imagine doing this show with any other group of people! SAM KELLAR (Agnes) is returning to Rose State Theatre having played Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. She previously was in 3rd Act’s Enrico the IV as Franco and their production of Twelfth Night as Viola. She also starred
in Hidden Gems production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Snug/ Moth/Philostrate. She has many film projects planned in her future. Sam would like to give a special thanks to her boyfriend, Brian, and her real-life Tilly, her sister, Kenzie. CARLEE MUSGROVE (Lilith) is excited to be back on stage at Rose State. Some of her highlight roles include Molly from Peter and the Starcatcher, Annelle from Steel Magnolias, and Peppermint Patty in Charlie Brown. Carlee is very happy to be working with this amazing cast and crew. Carlee wants to thank her friends and family for supporting her. She would also like to thank her family and friends for always being so supportive! OLIVIA OLSON (Costume Designer) is a Theatre major at Rose State College. This is the first show she has fully costumed by herself. This was a big passion project for her since she has always loved costumes and cosplay. Enjoy the show! IRIEAHNA RIVERWOLF (Evil Gabbi, Succubi) has been acting for going on six years, from a start in theatre to a wonderful transition into her primary focus, film. Previously seen onstage as Amy March in Little Women, Juliet Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, and on screen in nearly 15 films since the start of 2026, she loves acting with all that she is. actress, she wants to spend her life finding every possible way inside a story. EVERETT RYAN (Orcus) is thrilled to be making his debut on Rose State’s stage. Everett has previously been seen in the roles of Sam (Mamma Mia!) and Shakespeare (Something Rotten) at Carl Albert High School. Everett is currently studying Environmental Science here at Rose State. He would like to say thank you to his mom, dad, brother, and the rest of his family for being there for his entire journey. JACOB SMITH (Farrah/Demon) is performing onstage at Rose State for his fourth time. Previously seen as Nico in Achlys’ Reign, Husband in Before and After, Frog and Card in Alice in Wonderland, and Dave in Almost, Maine. This is Jacob’s second year at college and he is a Theatre major. He’d like to thank all the people that got him here, but he said, “that’s too long a list for a bio.” BROOKLYNN STRUNK (Vera/ Narrator) is a second-year student at Rose State. You’ve seen her previously as Achlys in Achlys’ Reign, as Clara
in The Lorax, Humpty Dumpty and Tweedledee in Alice in Wonderland, and Ensemble/Witch understudy in Big Fish. She’s incredibly excited to be performing yet again. She’d like to thank her dad, grandma, aunt, and brothers for their continued support. And as always, Brooklynn would like to thank her high school drama teacher, Mrs. Reise, for introducing her to theatre. She’d also like to thank Dr. Tracey Gregg-Boothby for her continued patience, kindness, and encouragement. CONSTANCE YOUNCE (Kaliope) is a second-year dual major in theatre/ photography at Rose State College. She has previously performed in four shows prior to this one. She is an aspiring voice actress/actor, hoping theatre will make her more comfortable being more out there. She is grateful to be working with and alongside many wonderful and talented people. She is looking forward to being able to do this show and hopes everyone else loves and enjoys the show on which everyone has worked so hard.
STAFF
MADISON KELLY (Technical Director) is the Technical Director at Rose State College, where she oversees all aspects of production design and technical operations. With a background in set design and properties management/ design, Madison brings 13 years of experience in theatre production, and has worked in Educational Theatre for most of her career. Before joining Rose State College, she worked with the University of Central Oklahoma, Inspired Theatre, Reclaiming Arts, and Red Carpet Community Theatre, supporting a wide range of performances from musicals and plays to dance recitals. Passionate about collaboration and student development, Madison is grateful for the opportunity to foster an environment where creativity and technical excellence meet. PETER FISCHABER (Fight Director) was first introduced to stage combat in 2006, in a production of King Lear at Gaslight Theatre in Enid, OK. After performing fights in many shows over several years, he began training with the Society of American Fight Directors. He has since attended courses and workshops across the country to study with top teachers and choreographers from around the world. Peter is recognized as
an Advanced Actor-Combatant by the SAFD, certified with recommendation on each of the society’s eight weapon styles. He has provided fight choreography for over 25 plays at various theatres and schools around central and north-central Oklahoma, as well as teaching short workshop classes and long courses on stage combat. AMY NEVIUS (Choreographer) is an adjunct faculty member teaching dance technique and theory classes at Rose State College and the University of Central Oklahoma. She is also listed among the Oklahoma Arts Council’s Teaching Artist Roster and has brought arts education in the form of dance and creative movement to a wide range of participants throughout the state of Oklahoma for over 25 years. Amy holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Central Oklahoma and enjoys working as a professional dancer, aerialist, and choreographer. Her professional performances and choreography have been a part of numerous concerts, festivals, theatre productions and arts-centered events throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, New Mexico, and California. Amy is also a founding member and the current Artistic Director of Perpetual Motion Dance.
