Send Me on Vacation (SMOV) is a remarkable nonprofit organization that provides healing vacations for women who have survived breast cancer. Established as a 501(c)(3) organization, it operates with the mission of offering transformative experiences that promote emotional recovery and restore hope in the lives of breast cancer survivors. With an unwavering commitment to their cause, SMOV strives to empower survivors by allowing them to rejuvenate their minds, bodies, and spirits in serene vacation destinations worldwide.

Unlike traditional vacations, these retreats are meticulously designed to offer holistic healing through various activities such as yoga classes, therapy sessions, support groups, and wellness workshops. By creating a safe and nurturing environment for survivors, this organization aims to help them overcome the emotional scars left by their battle with breast cancer. The primary mission is to provide healing vacations to breast cancer survivors who have undergone treatment. Fully paid vacations, with the exception of travel, creates a supportive environment where survivors can relax, recharge, and regain their well-being.

Additionally, this organization strives to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer on survivors' lives and advocate for improved access to post-treatment support services. These fundraising efforts and partnerships with other organizations ensure that more breast cancer survivors can benefit from healing vacations. The organization collaborates with medical professionals and cancer support networks to identify deserving candidates who would benefit most from these vacation experiences. Send Me on Vacation has profoundly impacted cancer survivors' lives since its inception. These transformative vacations empower survivors to heal emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Did you know that a first time recipients can return again? It’s the "Vacation Angel” program. A Vacation Angel acts as a hostess and a volunteer and makes first time attendees feel loved and welcome. The positive effects are far-reaching; attendees often report increased self-esteem, reduced stress levels, and enhanced well-being. Success stories abound within the SMOV community. Survivors share heartfelt accounts of how these vacations have helped them regain their strength and rediscover life's joys after enduring grueling treatments. "Freestyle Vacations" consists of a free vacation certificate for a one week to selected Grand Pacific Resort destinations. Only the certificate for the resort stay (no other expenses are covered) but survivors love the freedom of being able to go on their own or have a family member or friend share it with them.
