ABOUT THE AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR:
MIKE LUCAS has written lots of silly poetry and a couple of sensible picture books. He cites Roald Dahl, Spike Milligan, and Shaun the Sheep as his inspiration. For five days a week he works as an engineer, and also owns and helps run an independent book shop in Adelaide, Australia. HEIDI COOPER SMITH knew at an early age that she wanted to write and illustrate picture books. Then she discovered ceramics. After working with clay for 20 years, Heidi rediscovered drawing through an online illustration challenge. Since then, Heidi has written and illustrated two books: Kate and the Thing and Six Sleepy Mice.
