• Developer Pathway : Created for students who want to enter the workforce ready to contribute. You’ll build real-world software, participate in internships, and complete hands-on projects. If you’re excited about applying AI, securing systems, or creating data pipelines that power decision-making, this path will equip you with the tools and experience to succeed.

• Researcher Pathway : Designed for students interested in theory, foundational computing concepts, or graduate research. You’ll engage in labbased work, collaborate closely with faculty, explore topics like algorithm design, theory of computation, and engage in foundational study in a subdiscipline of CS that excites you. Students also complete a senior research capstone as part of the academic journey.

Specializations and Minors

After choosing your pathway, you’ll have the opportunity to dive deeper into a specialized area through a specialization or minor. Whether your focus is on these three popular programs – Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Since – or something else, we work with students to explore their own specialization, so your major is exactly what you want it to be .
