Mick Hanly in Concert
Mick Hanly is one of Ireland’s finest singer/songwriters. He is probably best known for his song ‘Past the Point of Rescue’ made famous by Mary Black and Hal Ketchum in the USA. Mick has been singing and writing since the 1970’s, which included a time as lead singer with “Moving Hearts”. He has formed several folk music duos over the years working alongside Mícheál Ó Domhnaill, Andy Irvine and Dónal Lunny and his songs have been covered by artists such as Christy Moore and Mary Coughlan. His solo performance at Roscommon Arts Centre promises to be an intimate evening of sublime music.
