Assurance of perpetual disciple – making, II Tim. 2:2 "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses the same commit thou to faithful men who shall be able to teach others also".

Disciple – making is a non-debatable responsibility for the Church of Jesus Christ, John 1:7 "The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe". Discipleship is linked to faithful persons who adhere to the principles of scripture in their personal lives and are committed to assist others in their maturing, John 1:11-13 "He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God".

1. Ministries of The Holy Spirit a. Revelation "And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven". For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law". Gal. 5:22-23 b. Growth "Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Therefore let no man glory in men.

If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof: Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience? Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved". I Cor. 10:23-33 d. Effective Ministry "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. Requirements of Discipleship (Luke 14:25-33) 1.

An Unrivaled Love, “if any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother and wife and children and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple”, v. 26. a. Touching the heart’s affection b. Marks of a disciple An Unceasing Cross-bearing, “and whoever doth not bear his cross and come after me, cannot be my disciple”, v.27.

a. Touching life’s conduct b. Identification with a suffering Lord 3. An Unrelenting Commitment To Purpose, “for which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?”, v.28

a. Committed to be a contemplative builder b. Committed to finish strong and effective “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple”, v.33.

Luke 6:12-16 indicates that Jesus spent all night in prayer before he chose his 12 Disciples. Here he shows us the spiritual perspective for the kind of selection process we must pattern our selections after.

Again, Luke 10:1,2 is very emphatic in describing the use of prayer in securing the laborers who will enter into the Lord's harvest. Disciples are present, they just have to be gathered. Once gathered, they

must be trained, then commissioned to fulfill the evangelistic outreach with educational and economic focus to minister to families.

Disciples will Help Families Experience Their Best As Family!

Use the different Voice-like methods available such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and Branch Out. Post per day, be evangelistic, reach for the broken hearted families, the economic captives, those who have been blinded by small and large catastrophic devastations, those who need a new liberty to their bruised conditions and bring glory to the many suffering from the wraps of hopelessness .

Fathers and heads of households are urged to be leaders in building a positive Family Legacy. We urge you to dedicate a month as a spiritually directed family witness and connect your family and friends from across the street, the state, the region, the country and the world. Be an excellent Legacy Preneur and Unite Your Family during happy times.
