2022 RMHCAA Year in Review

1. We kicked off our re-imagined Meals Matter program to include Cooking Up Comfort (home-cooked dinners) and Baking Buddies (baked goods).

2. Our reach in the community expanded through our Comfort Care Bags for Trinity Health St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor.

3. Siblings were welcomed back to stay with their families in our Main House. We loved the sound of children laughing in our playroom again!

4. Over 350 guests and 75 sponsors made our 10th Annual Red Shoe Affair at Barton Hills Country Club on September 16th a HUGE success raising $430,000+.

5. Our Mott and Main House were once again at 100% capacity after the pandemic.

6. DTE Energy provided holiday cheer by bringing their light trucks to our parking lot for families to enjoy.

7.

8.

Families “shopped” the Holiday Shop this season for their loved ones - eliminating one less stress while they stayed with us.

Volunteers lent a hand in many ways including decorating our house for the holidays, gardening, office work, and making quilts.

9. Our pantries were kept stocked thanks to our Wish List donors! To view our current list, visit our website.

10. Since September 2022, RMHCAA has been “home” to Rosie’s parents and brother. “After many hours spent at the hospital it’s a blessing to have a place like this to stay. We are forever grateful for the impact RMHCAA has had on us, and Rosie’s story”, said Rosie’s mom, Hannah.

BECAUSE OF YOU...

Families don’t have to struggle to manage their day to day needs away from home and can instead focus their energy on caring for their child receiving medical care. Thank YOU from the bottom of our Hearts!
