“In response to the pressing need for sustainable construction practices in Istanbul’s burgeoning housing sector, the establishment of a vocational school along with market focusing on advanced construction technology is proposed. This institution will offer a comprehensive curriculum integrating STEM education with hands-on experience, preparing students to address the challenges of climate change and achieve zero-carbon goals
The school will provide specialized courses such as Timber Construction Systems, Surveying of Existing Historical Buildings, Advanced Roof Systems, Reinforced Concrete Construction Systems, Concrete-Cement and Ground Technology, Bio-materials Research and Implications, Sustainable Constructions, 3D Printing, and Digital Fabrication.
Learning methodologies will include certified courses, shared workshops, up-skilling through short courses, and re-skilling opportunities. The program will feature 8 to 10 classrooms, workshops for woodwork, fabrication, construction, 3D printing, and material labs, along with an exhibition space.
Additionally, the inclusion of a park will enhance the proposal, creating a harmonious environment that encourages creativity, social interaction, and public spaces, breathing new life into the existing Kadikoy market. In summary, the proposal envisions a symbiotic relationship between education, cultural preservation, community vibrancy, and environmental sustainability.”

Barcelona city council and other public institutions and organisation (Barcelona Vocational Training Foundation, Education Consortium, professional regulating bodies) can enable facilities of training and upskilling for the people in the emerging technological sectors to identify the needs of the industries.
In continuation with this model, I propose Training and Incubation centre as a part of civic centre which emphasis on mainly the vocational training, certification of skills, workshops with collaboration with the establishment(Business, companies and industries) and professional to boost the creation of employment. Training centre based on automation and robotics for advanced manufacturing, electronics, and internet of things (TOI), which is associated with the industry 4.0 in order to reduce the digital gap between the people and industries.
Furthermore, incubation centre strengthens the relation between business and young people via carrier guidance support, job guidance programme and job fair, where their self-knowledge and personal skills encouraged. Co-working spaces supports the neighbourhoods for enterprises, entrepreneurship, and start-up with the help of the market leaders and professionals. Also, Industries exhibits their cutting edge applications technologies to the societies for promotion professional links between young people and companies.

The pedagogical approach of this urban design studio will be to intervene in a context which is not highly urban but rather say indigenous in nature. A setting which has blend of nature, rural, semi urban, forest as well as many facets of majority of non or semi urban setting of Gujarat or rather say India as a country. A region which is typical in nature and requires in depth knowledge of various aspects of culture, traditions, local as well as visitor population, climate, terrain, wildlife, nature, agri-economy and environmental issues to be named as few. Other than that the region and its study will also cater to various other aspects of tourism economy and its pressures. It will try to rethink how such kind of tourist destinations are rethought in form of Master planning and architectural proposals .
In response to the studio programme Gir Forest and the impacted regions around it mainly the Sasan Gir is selected as study areas.
