Introduction to Virtual Reality
Virtual reality is the act of creating a virtual environment using computer simulations to create an immersive experience for users. This technology is developed by a virtual reality company. The use of this term “virtual reality" was first used in the mid-1980s and began to develop from 2008 onwards. When there were no goggles and gloves with high technology then, technologists were also developing simulated environments.
Virtual reality works with the help of its equipment, which are VR headsets that are embedded stereoscopic lenses positioned between LED screen-built eyes; it helps distort the image and convert it into looking 3D and real. These headsets pass two images, one for each eye.
The importance of VR in today's world is growing daily as it offers many benefits, like providing immersive gaming experiences, offering advanced learning solutions, creating accessible and inclusive environments, and much more.
