Rain boots are the most practical footwear for children living in poverty. They provide a protective barrier that keeps children safe from cuts, insect bites, infections, or parasites, allowing them to enjoy their lives to the fullest. Proper footwear is crucial in fulfilling basic needs, and rain boots are essential in wet and dry climates. BOOTS ON THE GROUND

ROMA FOUNDATION provides aid to children by addressing several pressing issues that affect communities in poverty. Lack of proper footwear is a major problem in rural areas where children may have to walk long distances to attend school. We provide durable footwear to help children attend school regularly and create job opportunities to support economic growth.

LEARNING CENTERS, BOOKS & SUPPLIES

ROMA FOUNDATION has operated by the motto, Giving them a fish you feed them for a day. Teaching them how to fish you feed them for a lifetime. Aid is an urgent need, but Education is the key to helping them break out of the cycle of poverty. Since our inception, ROMA FOUNDATION has provided books and school supplies along with the boots that we donate. In 2017, ROMA FOUNDATION built its first learning center in Arad, Romania, and has funded other learning centers in Guatemala, Mexico, and Romania. We believe education is a key component of GIVING POVERTY THE BOOT. That's why ROMA FOUNDATION has taken the initiative to donate and distribute durable rain boots to these children, empowering them to attend school regularly, stay dry during rainy weather, and enjoy playing outside. With your help, we can continue to support initiatives like this and make a difference in the lives of the children whom we serve.

JOB CREATION & AGRICULTURE

ROMA FOUNDATION empowers women in the communities where we donate the boots through job creation and by creating a circle of hope that breaks the cycle of poverty. We do this by providing education and agricultural training programs so that these women can produce their own crops to feed their families.
