Pieces of work, exhibited in the exhibition, in no way illustrate the concept of “rebellion”; just the name of a piece work of the one of the participants nicely formats the entire exhibition. On the other hand, in some cases, an individual subjective creative act may be seen as a tiny symbolic victory against the meaninglessness in certain situations of life. Yes, most of the works exhibited in this exhibition may have some taste of contextual “marginality” in one or another aspect, however, without any escalation and placing in the foreground.
“Marginality” may be understood as a certain category of sincerity, inner necessity for creativity, having little or very little in common with what we call the institutional or gallery market. And, again, this is not an attempt to artificially create some “opposition”.
