The Mark West brand was launched in 2001 by visionary Derek Benham. Benham created Mark West Pinot Noir with a goal of making great quality, affordable Pinot Noir available to a broad audience, originally dubbing it, “Pinot for the People.” We take our inspiration from Burgundy in that we focus on Pinot Noir. We believe, as Burgundian winemakers do, that each wine should showcase the best aspects of the vineyards and region where the grapes were sourced. Mark West wines highlight those unique aromas, flavours and textures that make each of our wines unique – from our Pinot Noir to our Pinot Grigio.
