Product Overview ROJ-150B Intelligent GNSS/GPS Repeater System The ROJ-150B represents Rojone's fourth-generation intelligent GNSS/GPS repeater technology, specifically engineered to reliably retransmit satellite navigation signals in environments where direct GNSS reception is limited, degraded, or unavailable. Designed for military and critical infrastructure applications, the ROJ-150B provides both wireless and wired GNSS signal distribution to multiple GPS-enabled subsystems, ensuring continuous positional awareness and operational readiness.

Developed to support modern defence mobility requirements, the ROJ-150B is a compact, lightweight, and cost-effective solution ideally suited for installation in Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs), protected mobility vehicles, command shelters, bunkers, and other enclosed environments where GNSS signal penetration is restricted. The system can be factory-configured or field-reconfigured, providing exceptional flexibility to meet evolving mission requirements and platform integration needs.

By maintaining continuous GNSS signal availability within vehicles and protected facilities, the ROJ-150B enables soldiers to keep man-pack radios, navigation equipment, situational awareness systems, and personal GPS receivers synchronised at all times. This capability allows personnel to achieve immediate satellite acquisition and location lock upon exiting a vehicle or protected structure, enhancing operational effectiveness and reducing mission delays.

The ROJ-150B is built upon more than two decades of proven GNSS repeater experience. Rojone GNSS repeater systems have been successfully deployed throughout the Australian Defence Force and have provided continuous service across every Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) base in Australia for over 20 years. The technology has also been deployed in New Zealand defence applications and demanding maritime environments, including naval flight deck installations.

Proudly designed and manufactured in Australia, the ROJ-150B is currently deployed within the Australian Defence Force as part of the highly successful Thales Australia Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle program, demonstrating its proven performance, reliability, and suitability for mission-critical defence operations.

Performance Gain Control Range & Filter Stop Bands Regular outputs typically have a 35dB max gain & 55dB on the radiating antenna cable output. The module has an internal 30dB, 1dB step attenuator & a 20dB bypass selectable amplifier over the regular output stage.

Additionally, the upper & lower GNSS bands can be individually enabled or disabled as required. The plot below shows the full configurable gain range & typical selectivity provided by the 8th-order filter.

Order Code: ROJ-150BCONFIG Configuration Controller / Display

The Configuration Controller is primarily intended for the initial configuration and commissioning of the ROJ-150B GNSS Repeater Module.

The Configuration Controller is only required during system setup to configure each ROJ-150B repeater in accordance with the specific platform and installation requirements. Once the configuration is complete, the controller is disconnected and removed from the repeater module.

All configurable parameters, including active antenna DC bias voltage selection, gain and attenuation setting to prevent oscillation, are accessed through the Configuration Controller interface. Selected settings are stored in the repeater's non-volatile memory, ensuring retention of configuration data without the controller during normal operation.

The integrated display dashboard provides immediate visibility of key system information, including configured operating parameters, antenna connection status, and repeater health and fault conditions.

The Plug-and-Play Configuration Controller has been designed as a temporary setup tool to eliminate the risk of inadvertent configuration changes during operational use. This architecture removes the requirement for a permanently installed display, reducing system size, weight, power consumption (SWaP), and overall cost while enhancing operational reliability.

For day-to-day operation, the ROJ-150B incorporates an NVG-compatible status LED that provides a clear indication of operational status and fault conditions, ensuring rapid system verification and operator confidence in mission-critical environments.
